The backyard of this Andover home faces the former estate of William Wood, founder of the American Woolen Company in 1899 (still in existence). Approximately 50 acres is now owned by the Trustees of the Reservations, a Massachusetts charitable organization. If you walk over to the left corner of the property, you may see the "doll house" - one of the many historic structures which remain on the Wood Estate.
The house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in a very quiet neighborhood perfect for enjoying the evenings or going for a walk. The outdoor patio also has a firepit! Speaking of walks, it is a 15 minute walk into town - or a 5-minute drive - where you'll find lots of shops and restaurants.
