The Calaboose Loft is one of two apartments located upstairs above an intimate event venue. This historic fire station has been masterfully transformed and includes actual artifacts which provide a one-of-a-kind glimpse into the history of the Gainesville Fire Department.

"We had a fantastic stay at both of these apartments! The space looked exactly like the photos—clean, bright, and very comfortable. Very cool and unique place to stay! Historical ambience made this a very memorable stay. The kids loved staying at the jail cell. Would definitely recommend.

Girls Weekend

This location was perfect for us and just as described in the listing. We could walk to go shopping at the downtown boutiques. There are also plenty of restaurants to cater to everyone’s food preference. We would definitely stay here again and refer it others.

The loft was Fabulous! It was so spacious and very clean. The historical aspect and the simple fireman decor was awesome. The jail cell was really cool. The washer and dryer were great, my only recommendation is that they provide fragrance free laundry soap. Yes we could've bought some, although we didn't want to have more stuff to tote home. All in all we loved it!

Simply AMAZING!!!

This is such a wonderful place. One of the best, if not the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Beautiful, yet comfortable decor; all the amenities that one could possibly need (even white-noise machines!!!). Very comfortable memory-foam mattress, nice pillows, thick light-blocking curtains. The list goes on. And the property manager is wonderful too. I will definitely book here again and I HIGHLY recommend!!!pillows

Unique, Clever, and Clean Historic Lofts!

This weekend we rented both the Bell Tower and Calaboose lofts as we traveled from Florida back to our hometown of Gainesville for a family wedding. Our family all loved the trendy and creative decor. The unique and clever touches of the historic fire station were woven throughout the exceptionally clean and well- appointed lofts. We had everything we needed from the coffee station to the comfy beds and trendy linens. Whether you are planning a visit to the casino or just a fun weekend staycation or getaway, do not hesitate to book these lofts for an amazing experience!!
