We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin itself was lovely, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, but the outdoor space was definitely a highlight. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and making the most of the peaceful surroundings.We took advantage of local amenities like Buckhorn State Park and charming downtown Mauston, and had day trips to Devil's Lake State Park and Noah's Ark waterpark. It was nice to have the Dells fun nearby without having to stay in the thick of it.Our host was responsive, communicative, and easy to work with throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing Wisconsin getaway!

Wonderful and relaxing stay!

The house is beautiful and was comfy to stay in. Beds and pillows were great, kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was plus and so was the propane heater on the covered patio. Enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you for being a great host!

Peaceful Retreat

Basically, we wanted to stay forever! This property and location was perfect. The interior and exterior finishings look right out of a better homes and gardens magazine. Everything was clean and fresh. The neighborhood was quiet and nature offered us many great views and glimpses of the animal life. 5/5 is not enough- 10/10!!! Would recommend and also would stay again!

HavenHyde was everything as advertised and more. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed to enjoy a quiet and peaceful vacation of our family. Minutes from everything we wanted to experience (Golf, Dells, grocery, Lakeside restaurants). This is a hidden gem with comforts that far exceeds any hotel stay.

Hi there! I'm Emily. My husband & I currently live on a 3rd generation farm that's been in the family for almost 100 years, but we love to remodel homes for people to enjoy and cherish. Our latest venture is building the brand new Haven+Hyde at Castle Rock Lake that we have always dreamt of sharing with others. We love to travel, have two kids, and are an extrovert & introvert who balance each other out. We can't wait to share our dream with you!

Why they chose this property

My husband grew up in the area, so we have always been familiar with the lakes and local scenery. We love the small towns, local attractions, and the people. The quiet neighborhood with the house surrounded by trees is so inviting as you can watch deer and other wildlife casually graze through the property on numerous occasions. The birds are always chirping, but they love mornings best!

What makes this property unique

This space (completed in 2024) was created with a lot of intention designed for couples or small gatherings. A place for people to sneak away from the usual hustle and bustle of life and to rest, relax, and recharge doing their favorite things - or nothing at all. Create your own tranquil spa day in the private hot tub or the spacious beautifully tiled shower.
