About this property
Spacious artist's studio loft apartment with view
About this space
Relax at this charming, remodeled studio, stunning views of The Sleeping Giant. A short drive or bike ride from downtown Helena, Archie Bray Foundation, and nearby parks/trails. 10-Mile Creek & Spring Meadow Lake under a mile away, w/Mt. Helena trails just outside. Studio features a butcher block counter kitchen, gourmet stove, cookware & table settings. Wifi, Organic Coffee, Espresso maker, parking included.
The studio is newly remodeled with hardwood floors and locally hewn wood features, along with stainless steel and iron elements in the kitchen. There is a full bath and shower. There is plenty of light if guests prefer during the day, but we also provide blackout blinds for those wanting to sleep in a bit or for early bedtimes in the months with longer days.
**We provide a window AC unit during the hot summer months when temperature remain consistently in the 80's or above. The unit is removed in the cooler months.**
Laundry
Laundry and Laundry detergent are located on the lowest level of the studio. Guests may access the washer and dryer by going down the two flights of steps outside, taking a left at the bottom and a right into the lower door of the studio. The washer and dryer on the right when you walk inside the door. You may see Adam, the artist, at work in his porcelain studio, adjacent, if it's during working hours. He's happy to say hello!
Guest access
You will have access to the entire studio 3rd floor, a small deck, the property and your parking space. Please be aware that you may see others around the property and in and out of the lower two stories of the red studio building.
The first two levels of the studio building are a professional ceramic studio, owned by Adam Field of Adam Field Pottery. If he is around, he is happy to meet you and show you around his work space. If he is not around and you would like to schedule a studio tour please make a request via message. You may also run into his ceramic assistant.
If the artist isn't home, please don't take tours on your own of the studio as there are many fragile items in various stages of drying and glazing.
The house next door is another VRBO unit with guests coming and going.
You are welcome to walk around on the grounds of the property, observe the wildlife that passes through, and smell the flowers and sagebrush, but we do ask that you are mindful and courteous of the others you may see during your stay.
Other things to note
Adam Field and Jessica Peterson (your hosts) both serve their local community by providing handmade items.
