The rental management was responsive and met us there for an orientation. The Northwoods complex is excellent- well maintained, safe and convenient for skiing. The unit was clean with a well stocked kitchen and the bedrooms had lots of sleeping options. It was filled with eclectic artwork and furniture, which was nice but sometimes got in the way of function
Great location for ski in/ski out and amphitheater
My kids attended the John Summit concert at the amphitheater, which they could walk to- huge plus. Easy walk to the village, as well. The building is quiet and the garage is so nice to have. Also, loved the gym. Kitchen is very well stocked.
This property has an unbelievable amount of artwork/ fine furniture. This would make this very difficult for a family with young kids. We were a family with adult children and this was OK for us. It is also not set up for a ski condo. no hooks to store ski clothes, helmets, etc. no place for boots at the entry - every inch of wall space is taken up by artwork (nice stuff). The master bed was as hard as rock, memory foam. Otherwise the location was good ski in/out with slight effort. The steam room and hot tub were great. Number of beds, bathrooms, kitchen, breakfast nook were excellent. The master bedroom is on the 1st level with one other bedroom. The living room and kitchen were the second level. The 3rd level had another bedroom with 4 single beds with bathroom. This made it a great place for adult children coming home late from town to enter/stay away from the adults. There is an entryway at the first and second level. For some reason there were only two keys (physical) which is not ideal for a ski condo of this size. Also the property manager was not clear about the location of parking for a second car (although they did give us this on request which was great). Sauna did not work well but that is not the condos fault.
