Our group had a great time! We had an adequate amount of space for the 7 people staying on site.It was very easy to get downtown for us to do activities throughout the day!
What a great property to stay at! Brooke was so friendly and easy to communicate with. Being able to bring my two dogs was so nice. The neighborhood was perfect for our daily walks. The house was lovely and just as described/pictured in the listing, and bonus was it was close to downtown Grand Rapids where my son’s wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and wedding were. So convenient for going back and forth. Loved the stay and would gladly stay here again if I am ever back in Grand Rapids.
Great location and house was beyond our expectations!
We absolutely LOVED the bouse and location!! It felt like home and my whole family loved it. The house has a full stocked kitchen and it is very spacious. We will definitely be staying again in the future!
Excellent place. Host was very communicative and clear with instructions/requests. While the layout inside is non-traditional it's very roomy and comfortable. The outside area is beautiful and comfortable as well. Would absolutely return, no issues at all.
We came to Grand Rapids for my daughters graduation from Nursing School from GVSU. It's a very charming house, it is close to downtown and I would defiantly stay here again.
My friends and I were happy to find such a reasonably priced, clean, well-located, and dog friendly home near downtown Grand Rapids last minute. The home was clean and easily fit a large group comfortably. Brooke was very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend booking her properties!
Amenities were in good condition , location was nice and host has decorated quite well !Back bedrooms were not usable due to extreme cold. No heating options seem to be available. Heating vent blocked in back hallway by bench, this made it worse. This takes 2 king beds out of commision and limits actual sleeping arrangments. The beds in the front room were located so that the heating vents were directly below the headboard and it was extremely uncomfortable for sleeping. Way too warm. There was a weird bed in the basement, not sure what that was for. We were looking for a space heater and found that. Maybe add locks to doors guests shouldn't open. Hand towels in the bathroom would be nice. No clear cleaning insteuctions so we did the best we could. Dishwasher was full upon arrival.Lots of potential and great location over all.

Okay stay - improvements needed
This stay had several concerns and things that would have been helpful to know prior to booking. Property size was accurate and accommodated the appropriate amount of people. However, the main door to the property opens directly into a bedroom from the outside, which is where 3 older adults were slated to be sleeping. It was incredibly disruptive to younger guests staying out later as you could not come back to the property without waking them. The floors were filthy as evidenced by my crawling toddler who had blackened the tops of his socks after crawling around. There was also trash under the coffee table and significant soap scum throughout the shower. The “living room” is definitely not large enough to accommodate any entertaining and there is only enough space for 2 people to eat (but the space is large enough for up to 10 people to sleep there). There is no privacy in the evenings as the blinds on the front windows are completely see through when it’s dark out and there are lights on inside. The blinds in the bedrooms do not fully cover the windows either. Finally, there is access to a laundry space but no communication that it leads to a set of stairs in which someone is living upstairs without another door. Extremely uncomfortable.
