We love Honua Kai! It’s our favorite resort to stay at in Kaanapali. The full kitchen, washer/dryer and large bathroom was very nice to have for our family. We enjoyed our long stay. The host was communicative. Thank you!

The host was extremely responsive and helpful to my many pre-arrival questions. The amenities at Honua Kai were great and the unit was so lovely. We loved facing the sunrise each morning!

Unit was exactly as described. Great mountain view, well stocked, clean. Plenty of beach toys, chairs, umbrella though we didn't use. Easy access to pools and on-site restaurant (Duke's). Parking was easy (valet or self-park). Overall a great stay!

Perfect stay in Maui

This was the perfect spot to stay for our trip to Maui! The condo was spacious, clean and had all of the amenities we needed. The resort itself was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the beach. Could not have asked for a better stay! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent room on Maui in Lahaina

Great property at the Honua Kai resort. Excellent views of the mountains as advertised, even with the rainbow. Host was very responsive and the property was great as advertised. Definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Great vacation getaway

Very clean, beautiful resort, plenty of extras in room (air beds, beach chairs, cooler, etc). Owner was very responsive throughout process. 10th floor offered great views of the valley!

The unit is very clean and spacious. It’s on the 10th floor and the view of the mountain is beautiful. They have very nice pools ( one with a slide that is great for kids and others more quiet for adults plus more than a few jacuzzis!). The beautiful beach is also steps away and Dukes restaurant is right on the property. The staff at the bell desk were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Sadly this was not a 5 Star experience. Patio furniture was trashed. New couch, stained side chairs, towels we old and not crisp and clean. Floors were not clean. No extra blankets. ACWent off twice. The positive the owner self manages and was always responsive.

I’m sorry the stay wasn’t up to your standards. - There are MULTIPLE patio chairs that are in good shape and I will be removing the damaged ones - The couch is brand new - I offered to have my cleaners drop off new towels and clean any areas that you didn’t think were clean but you refused - No extra blankets were requested - The resort is putting in new AC in all units and my condo will be done next month (but when the AC shut off for this guest it was promptly fixed) Unjustified rating from an unreasonable guest

Wonderful Place

Great unit. Stayed with our family of 4 (2.5 year old and 6 month old). Room was fantastic with a great deck. The pools and resort were fantastic. Owner was super easy to contact and ask questions. Would stay here again.
