About this property

Grafton Village Haven

Village Haven is just what it sounds like. It is a haven for guests to rest and recharge, and yet be right in the beautiful village of Grafton, Vermont. Village Haven is a large apartment above our barn with its own private entry. There is a lovely king size bed, as well as a comfortable day bed, should you need to accommodate another guest or child. There is a well appointed kitchen with a double sink, a microwave, toaster over, single electric burner, a coffee maker and a mini fridge. All linens, towels, dishes and soaps are provided. There is a lovely round farmhouse table and comfortable leather chairs, benches, all with a view of the village. Village Haven has a large new beautiful bath. The bath has a marble two sink vanity, a deep bathtub as well as a shower. Village Haven is directly across from the charming Town Garden, and next door to the Village Blacksmith shop. You can park your car and never move it during your stay. All that Grafton has to offer is an easy walk away. In winter you can cross country ski right from the door. Come visit Grafton's galleries, and shops. Come eat in our restaurants. Come bike, ski or walk on our trails. You'll be so glad you did!

The place is very spacious and well organized and equipped, the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. The garage door noise wasn’t a problem but when I looked at the pictures I didn’t assume that door would be on a power opener, first time hearing it was noticeable.

Beautiful studio apartment in a quiet and peaceful area

This was my third stay in this lovely apartment. Not many things in life can be counted on to be even better than we remember, but Grafton Village Haven never disappoints. The studio is clean, comfortable and beautifully ready for guests. Mary is so accommodating and one of the kindest people I have met.

Mary's apartment was so much more than we expected! Cozy, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Simply but beautifully decorated. The location is the best with views of the village and the village garden. Will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Grafton and are so glad we stayed with Mary. There are many thoughtful amenities at the Haven, in addition to a lovely location in the midst of so many historic sites. When we had a question she was quick to respond, but in general everything was taken care of so well that we didn't need anything. Would definitely stay there again, with pleasure.

Returning visitors... super clean, comfortable, and accessible to all Grafton has to offer.

We loved this rental so much we returned for a second time! The space is newly renovated, extremely clean and just a block away from everything you'd like to access in town (shops, restaurants, market, tennis courts, parks, etc). Even though its located in the heart of town it feels a world away and truly is a "haven".

Beautiful apartment in picture perfect VT

We enjoyed our stay at this newly renovated apartment, with views of the community gardens and beautifully maintained property. The Grafton Village store and dining at The Grafton Inn are within a few minutes walk. There is air conditioning, a nice soaking tub, and a comfortable king sized bed with soft cotton linens.

Wonderful stay at Village Haven!

We had a great stay at Village Haven! We are a family of three (2 adults and an infant) and found the place super convenient to all that Grafton has to offer. 5-10 min walk away from the Inn and restaurant and Village Market. Village Haven was cozy and had useful amenities such as a microwave, hot water heater, shower essentials. The host Mary was super responsive and helpful as well. Check in process super easy.

Spacious and comfortable

The Grafton Village Haven is a beautifully renovated efficiency. It is very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom is completely up-to-date and the small kitchen is well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great. You can walk to the Pub at the Grafton Inn for dinner or to the Grafton Market for some take-away. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay, in the beautiful town of Grafton VT

Beautifully efficiency, spacious, immaculate, well equipped, and centrally located in the heart of Grafton Village. In walking distance of so many things the town has to offer, from the Grafton Inn, Grafton Market, trails, tennis, and much more….don’t forget, Grafton Cheese Company! My Grafton stay

Enjoyed the studio apt. It was immaculate. Walked every where in the village as it’s centrally located. Mary was very friendly. My only suggestion for Mary is to add an electric water kettle for those of us who are tea drinkers. No, some of us would not dream of making tea with microwave “hot” water.

Peaceful Perfection

We had a wonderful much needed stay at Mary’s Village Haven in beautiful Grafton, VT. As promised, Village Haven is in walking distance to everything. It even overlooks the town’s community garden space! Check in was a breeze and we found the unit to be exactly what we were looking for; clean, very quiet, warm and cozy, plenty of room to spread out and with everything we needed for a night away. The king size bed is very comfortable and has beautiful linens. Lots of storage space, great light, nice little kitchen and a beautiful view from every window. Gorgeous bathroom too! It is clear that Mary put much thought into the design and aesthetic of Village Haven. It really is a perfect spot! We will definitely be back again soon!

Amazing place with a amazing host

My family and I were looking for a last minute vacation on the 4th of july weekend. Mary was very responsive to my email late at night and rather quickly with the whole process took all of maybe 15 mins to email back and forth and pay. When we arrived we had no cell service at all for the whole weekend and it was amazing but she provides wifi and plenty of amenities. She has a absolutely beautiful property and access to the town within 2 mins walking. She emailed a day prior and asked if we needed anything like a high chair or anything for our stay and was very accommodating to our late arrival and was willing to let us check our when it was convient. She also contacted us by 10 am the first morning to see how we were, welcome us and inform is to what was going on in town that day and what the kids may like. She also allowed us to use her grill and picnic area so we could have a traditional home cook out with our family. It was so amazing and exactly what we needed. This is a fantastic place to connect with your partner and family on a diffrent level but also have access to wifi and the town which is so beautiful am there are no words to truely explain this place. We will definitely be back again. Mary thank you so much

Our favorite place in Vermont! The pictures on-line did not do it justice! The studio was large, extremely comfortable with everything we needed and more. Special touches everywhere, from bed linens to bath furnishings. The hosts were friendly and the location was perfect, across from the community garden where we could it and enjoy the morning or evenings. We loved it and hope to go back sometime.
