House is as described with all the amenities needed. In a neighborhood with fairly quiet streets and family homes. Back yard is great for dogs, private/fenced, large. Very short drive (few minutes) to all the spots to visit in and around town. Easy communication w/ host.
The home was spacious, comfy beds, huge yard for the kids and puppy, and great communication with the property owners. I would definitely stay here again.
Perfect place for our family to come together from out of town for my father’s funeral. 20-30 minute pleasant walk to restaurants/beach. The house had everything we needed and property management was very responsive when there was an unexpected issue.
Would definitely stay there again.
My family and I drove up from CO to visit our daughter and her baby for the first bday! We met them at park nearby and then all stayed at the house. It was a wonderful cozy homelike feeling and I would definitely come back!
Our group of three adults, one teen, and a toddler stayed in this home for a few nights while in town for a wedding. The home location is great, within a mile of downtown CDA, near parks, restaurants, and great coffee shops. The home was clean upon arrival with a strong smell of cleaning products combined with sort of a musty, old house smell. We didn't use all of the bedrooms, but found the beds to be very comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with basic needs and the neighborhood is very quiet. The only issue really came down to a lack of towel hooks to hang wet towels after showering. There's also only one shower in this home that sleeps up to 10 people, something to keep in mind. There is a half-bathroom in the basement, which is a very dimly lit space with no natual light. I recommend that the home owner install more options to hang wet towels in the main bathroom and perhaps in all of the bedrooms as we had to hang them all over the house in order to dry them properly. Better lighting in the downstairs bathroom would also be ideal, as well. We didn't utitlize the outdoor space, other than to let the dog in/out. If anyone is looking to spend any length of time in the backyard, keep in mind that there is no patio or deck to hangout on. Most of the yard is grass. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.
The location was convenient, the house was a great layout for kids and a dog, and the beds were comfortable. The My only complaint would be that the living room furniture is pretty uncomfortable. We didn't spend much time at the house but after winding down, cooking dinner and sitting down for relaxation and conversation it was not very comfortable. The sofa is not sturdy, in particular for larger individuals and only one of the sitting chairs felt
Wonderful place. We enjoyed this home’s charm and the location was fantastic. We had a big crew and everyone loved the stay and slept comfortably. We will be back!
A very comfortable stay that met our family’s needs!
The house was plenty big for the four of us and our family pets! The fenced in yard and front porch were great places to enjoy the sunshine and shade! We had space to spread out which was nice when traveling with 4 adults. The price was extremely reasonable and the communication with management was clear and timely.

Not so Charming
The owner/property manager was friendly and gracious. We were thankful for this last-minute find for our eclectic family - 3 adults, 1 toddler, and 3 dogs. For this reason alone, I really wanted to be able to give a high recommendation. However, we were disappointed by 1) lack of cleanliness of the basement, which had cobwebs w/live spiders, and 2) cooling resources - a couple window air conditioning units, and a number of fans - all of which were loud. Additionally, thanks to it being the week before Independence Day, we were awoken at 1:00 am by firework blasts that seemed to be coming from next door.In this instance, the quick, one-night turnaround - check-in after 4:00 pm & check-out by 10:00 am - was just fine w/us.
This was our first experience with VRBO. We had a great time. Cute little house and big yard. Fence needs a bit of dog proofing, would have liked to let the dog run without supervision but glad we were outside when the neighbor's dog jumped over the fence to meet our dog.
The property was a comfortable older home. Everything we needed was provided and in working order. The yard was nice for the dogs and in a quiet neighborhood. Fencing was not entirely trust worthy.
Two families of four with a dog were comfortable and at-home in this rental. It was a quick trip to Silverwood theme park and a cool, clean retreat at the end of the day. The street was quiet with a huge backyard. Fabulous rental!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and was convenient to the activities we had planned.
Pros: Spacious house and fenced yard, quiet neighborhood, dog friendly, walkable to downtown (10 mins), clean beds, easy check-in/check-out, well stocked kitchen.
Cons: Back yard needed mowing, trash left in kitchen, BBQ grill did not work and was very dirty (disappointing as we had planned to use it), and house in general needs some TLC and a good scrubbing on the walls, baseboards, moulding, kitchen floor (especially around appliances), and while lots of closet space there were no hangers.
My husband and I were looking for a quiet place in Coeur d’Alene while we visited with our kids and grandkids. This location is quiet and close to everything CDA has to offer.
