We are pet friendly + do not require the traditional "Saturday-Saturday" stay. If you are looking for less than the minimum required, feel free to message me and we can try to make it work! @StayCoastalOBX

This tastefully decorated, 3 bedroom/2 bath, oceanside home is the perfect getaway for family, friends or couples! Located on a quiet cul de sac only a 5 minute walk to Bonnett Street Beach access (lifeguarded beach access), the location can't be beat! We manage and clean the home ourselves - you will not find a cleaner rental home! Kitchen recently updated with quartz countertops, marble backsplash + black stainless appliances. Our new outdoor shower is the perfect way to end your day on the beach. We are considered "oceanside" which does not require you to cross a major highway to access the beach.

Full access to the Outer Banks Family YMCA - .4 Miles from the cottage. Full use of all workout equipment and indoor/outdoor pools!

Carolina Dreaming is only a block away from the new, 5 acre Dowdy Park! There is a great playground for kids, basketball, bocce ball and pickle ball courts. In the summer, Dowdy has been home to a weekly farmers/artisans market.

In addition to this great new park - we are within walking distance to Tortuga's Lie, Lucky 12 Tavern, Galaxy Mini Golf, Morningview Coffee Shop, The Spot Ice Cream, Nags Head YMCA, Waveriders Deli and of course, the BEACH!

Adam and Amanda live in Chesapeake, VA with their 2 young sons. We have always dreamed of owning a beach home and in 2016 our dreams came true! Adam's love of real estate and Amanda's passion for antiquing and interior decorating, make them the perfect duo to manage a vacation rental home. We want our guest to be as comfortable as possible when staying in our home.

**If you leave prior to 10AM, please send me a quick text/message (757-289-4648). Our cleaner is usually in the area and can start cleaning early for the next guest!**
Place linens (towels, bed sheets, kitchen towels) in the bathtub in the hallway. Please do not put blankets/quilts in the bathtub. If towels are wet, the dark colors bleed into the white sheets!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Perfect house in a perfect location.

This was the perfect house for our family of five, outfitted for a week of beach time. It was HOT a few of the days while we were here, but the AC kept us cool. We cooked most of our meals in, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The street is a dead end, so it’s quiet, which is really nice. I was able to walk to Food Lion for little grocery purchases, and the beach wagon was a godsend for the short walks to the beach. There is also a farmers’ market on Thursday mornings about a block away. All in all, the owners are responsive, and it was a great vacation rental experience.

The house was sparkling clean, plenty of space to spread out, and met all of our needs. Loved that the property was shaded and we enjoyed dinners out on the deck. The home was exactly as pictured, clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. My family had a wonderful spring break. The location was convenient, 5 min walk to the beach, less than 10 minutes to the coffee shop, ice cream and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking family meals. Loved little details like white noise machines in every bedroom and children’s books to read to my kid every night. We also really enjoyed having access to the bikes to ride around the neighborhood, especially to the park nearby. We’d absolutely stay again!

Great beach vacation spot!

This beach home is very clean, and very well-cared for, with lots of nice touches. Inside, there are lots of comfortable places to be; and outside, the home is in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach. The owners made us feel right at home, and were super well-organized in providing us information, giving us tips, and being available if we needed. We had a great time, we enjoyed our stay immensely, and we can't wait to come back again!

We absolutely love the location of our cottage. It is nestled under beautiful live oak trees on a quiet cul de sac. It's close proximity to Dowdy Park, Bonnett Street Beach Access, Morningview Coffee, Waveriders Deli, Tortugas' Lie, Jockey's Ridge and much more is also a huge plus!
