REDONE APARTMENT & PRIVATE PENTHOUSE IN LE MARAIS NEAR CENTRE POMPIDOU

This beautiful duplex of 2150 sq ft has been renovated in February 2024, with all modern conveniences. Set in a modern building next to the Pompidou center, on the fourth floor with a lift, facing south, this property is located in the heart of the Marais, the most vibrant arrondissement of Paris, in walking distance from many attractions like the Louvre, Picasso museum, Place des Victoires, Saint-Eustache's church and even Notre Dame. The neighbourhood is surrounded by many nice restaurants, organic stores, bakeries, supermarkets and liquor stores. All windows are double glazed and sound proof (although there is not much noise on this pedestrian area to begin with!)

The apartment's layout and its size will provide you with ample space to relax and to enjoy your own privacy. The living room set upstairs overlooks the gorgeous rooftop of 1615 sq ft with his flowers, tomatoes plants and even a palm tree. It also has a grill, long chair and a outdoor table for 6 people. Ideally suited for two couples or a family with children, the two bedrooms sleep 4 guests comfortably and a sofa bed will provide 2 additional persons. The 2 bedrooms are master bedrooms and have king size beds. There's toilet in each bathroom and an additional one upstairs.
The sitting room is very large and has a modern dining table. The kitchen has been designed and equipped to enable you to cook a wonderful meal. It has a lovely, large black Carrara marble work area and faces the dining area.

The apartment has a state of air conditioning system and there is also a central heating in each room, including the bathrooms; free high speed wifi ; 3 flats screens TV, Netflix, DVD player, guide books, washer dryer, microwave, induction hob, Gaggenau oven and stove, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and dishwasher.

The closest Metro station is Rambuteau, 1 minute away and Velibs (bicycles that can be rented daily or weekly and are a great way to explore Paris) are close by. The airports and the main train stations can easily be reached by public transport or by taxi and you will receive a mail containing all information and direction you need once the apartment is booked.

The apartment is as the photos show, except that the outside patio is even better than it appears - it is large, comfortable, beautifully landscaped and private. Our host, Marcello was present to greet us and show us the features of the apartment. He remained accessible throughout our stay. The location is very central and convenient, but the apartment itself is quite quiet.

This was the perfect apartment for my family. Marcello was an amazing host who answered every question we had and provided such an easy experience. The location was perfect. We were able to easily hop on the metro or walk to so many places. The rooftop terrace was the perfect place to enjoy the wonderful spring weather.

The property was in a great location and very clean however the primary bedroom did not offer any privacy and the en-suite had no lock. It was difficult to fall asleep with guests in the loft. The bed was super comfortable but the towels and limited lighting in the bathrooms and rooms were disappointing. Marcello was very nice and communication was great.

Sometimes it’s speechless what people dare to write especially when you compare to their behavior at the house . The review is not surprising as this guest was already complaining prior to her arrival but also very dishonest as all pictures showed Japanese curtains in the master bedroom and the second bedroom is totally separated and closed. Additionally , We had to carefully collect multiple bags of garbage as she didin’t follow the rules about recycling and we had to wear protective gloves or appropriate equipment, trying to avoid injuries. This caused significant discomfort, stress, and disruption to the cleaning as we had a guest arrival in the afternoon. I don’t mention the blood stain on the cover bedsheet and the lack of communication. I dropped off new towels which she hasn’t used and don’t even say a thank you. As unbelievable as it seems she has allowed herself to break my lock and get into my private belongings just for a roll of kitchen tissue …… Not at all a trustworthy person !

Well - took my son to Paris for Spring break. Spectacular accommodations (mom booked it). Main floor has a bedroom and master sleeping room - not completely walled off but private and very luxurious. My bed (master) was a king (or bigger) and was very comfortable. Spacious and luxurious bathroom - tub & separate shower. I assume son’s bedroom/bed was comfortable. Definitely not a small bedroom and it had a separate bathroom. Kitchen was first rate and stylishly appointed. The upstairs provided a separate living area and outdoor entertainment space. We really didn’t use it much because we were in town but, like the rest of the apartment it had great style and appeared comfortable. Definitely coming back! Oh - almost forgot - the owner, Marcello, was fantastic to work with and he helped us with a number of local venues.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for myself and friends. The location is right in the heart of the heart of the Marais. Marcello, the host, was a dream to work with. He was very accommodating to our needs and requests. The unit was immaculate. After a day of touring, it was so nice to come back to the unit and enjoy the terrace with wine and snacks. The apartment is in a great location. Shops and restaurants are steps away. It is within a 2 or 10-minute walk of several lines of the Metro providing easy access to sights and monuments. Beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable. Large bedroom has limited privacy but was not an issue for our group. Ample kitchen supplies with Nespresso machine, which was all we needed to get our day started. The owner, Marcello, was excellent to work with and very helpful and responsive. Enhanced our 5-night stay in Paris.

Just stayed at Marcello’s place for 5 nights and it was wonderful. It was spacious and had everything we needed. I was impressed by Marcello’s attention to details - there were guide books to read, recommendations, a binder with directions, umbrellas, laundry soap, and even adapters for our phones! My husband and I stayed with our two adult children, and it was so nice to have 2 bedrooms and bathrooms so that we all had our own space. Thanks to Marcello’s for being a great host!

Marcello was a great host. He was friendly, informative, and detail-oriented. We had a walk-thru on the rental and were given information about the neighborhood. Marcello is great- easy to communicate with. We really liked the unit. It is modern and the outdoor area is a bonus. The bedroom my husband and I stayed in was spacious with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. There are screens to make the bedroom seem private, but there is no door. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if 2 couples need lots of privacy, one will be a little disappointed. Even still, I recommend the home and would stay there again.
