Good location and nice condo. Neighborhood was noisy ( maybe more so for me because I live in the country). I tried to keep my dog with me but he was freaked out by the noise so I had to make other arrangements for his care. The unit had everything necessary for a long stay. My only complaint would be the fact that the unit is almost all carpeted except for the kitchen. Allowing pets in a rental with carpet is not the best idea.i felt there was a slight odor when you first enter the unit probably due to the carpet? Grand Rapids has a lot to offer and it was nice to be on the riverfront.

Hi Patricia, We're glad you enjoyed the condo and it's convenience to the medical area. A trade off of being riverfront, near shops/restaurants is that it can be livelier, especially if you and your pup are used to the quiet of the country. Regarding the slight odor, I wished you would have brought that to our attention any time during your 6 week stay so that we could have remedied that, as we had not heard that before from our cleaner or any previous guests. Thanks for being a good guest and taking nice care of our place!

We work remotely and love to travel with our two dogs. Born and raised in Michigan, we have lived all over the country, and spend time in this condo when we are in town to visit family.

Why they chose this property

This area is very walkable, and close to everything in Grand Rapids. Lots of restaurants and things to do. The views aren’t bad either.

What makes this property unique

Because we live in this condo for part of the year, it is furnished and fully stocked as our home. Since we work from home, the unit has 2 separate office spaces with standings desks and extra monitors.

The building is very dog friendly, with a riverfront walk out front and a gated dog run out back. A pet store and groomer are just a block away.

There’s also a restaurant and salon in the building for convenience.
