This house had a charming farmhouse/cottage feel. Location was good. Beautiful view of the bay a short walk from the house. The beach wasn't exactly what I would have imagined for a beach vacation. Hous was very clean with nice kitchen appliances. Sitting in the yard was pleasant with nice views. Was only there for two nights. Dressers in the main bedroom were a little dated but adequate for my short stay. Would definitely stay there again, especially since we felt the price was very good. The owners were attentive and kept in contact to make sure we were happy with our stay. The owners left a loaf of banana nut bread as a welcome present! It was much appreciated. We were actually visiting Salem which was about 19 miles away. Easy enough to get back and forth. We also found the Hammond Castle in Gloucester to be a wonderful place to visit!

Nice Annisquam Property

This house is perfect for friends and family. Easy access to all attractions in Gloucester and Rockport, Massachusetts. It is comfortable and cozy.

Wonderful house!

The house was great for our Thanksgiving dinner. Everything we needed and lots of space. We enjoyed our stay, although it was too short. A map indicating where to walk to the beach would have been helpful.

Father’s Day weekend getaway

I would definitely book again. The property was beautiful a short walk to the beach. It was a short drive.to Rockport, Downtown Gloucester Ipswich definitely would recommend going to the castle on crane state beautiful grounds and afterwards Ipswich brewery the house was comfy, cozy and it had everything we needed. Definitely love to visit again looking forward to it. Thanks again, Mark.

Well managed property.

My wife and I enjoyed our week with our four young adult children. The house is well kept but in need of a furnishing makeover. It was hard to gather as a family in any one room. The air conditioning is via a few window units, so some bedrooms are very warm if it’s hot outside. The house is situated 50 feet from busy Washington St, and traffic noise is constant. But the house is also situated on a large property that allows access to the water and some beautiful views via a short walk. The house has character.

We’ve stayed at this particular house very often in the last 20 years, but during this trip, we were happy to enjoy many of the new upgrades, including honeycomb blinds for the bedrooms; functional central air AND several separately controllable AC units; a modern fridge and laundry machines.This is a very cozy place, and the beach access cannot be beaten. Great for families - except possibly folks that are less mobile. Plenty of amenities, including two kayaks, lots of beach chairs and towels, and a great outdoor eating spot. Whether you want an active vacation or a relaxing one, this house is really sweet.
