We loved everything about the wee cottage! We hope to come back soon to visit. Our stay was peaceful with amazing views and we loved the little town 7 min drive from the cottage.
The wee cottage was rustic and very comfortable. Location was great and I walked to the beach several times during the day with my dog.
A short drive to Rockport town center with great restaurants, views and shops

Thanks Anne and Axel! Hope you had a safe trip to Boulder.
Great location and very reasonable.
We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and to Rockport. Was exactly what were looking for.
Marilyn was very pleasant and accommodating.
A small cabin in a group of cabins that, with a few adjustments & simplifications, could be a really sweet vacation spot — Which I think is the goal —— The sea isn’t really visible from the cabin but it’s only a five minute walk to a beautiful beach & the surrounding area is truly breathtaking If you’re outdoorsy & adventurous this is a wonderful choice
Adorable bungalow high on a hill overlooking the beautiful twin lighthouses on Thacher Island. The bathroom is a bit tight but otherwise a very nice spot in arguably the most scenic section of Rockport. Walking distance to several beaches and pretty Loblolly Cove. Loved it!

It is always a pleasure to have wonderful guests at my Wee Cottage who appreciate it and it's location! Thank you!
This is a very tiny cottage. It’s great for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The location is fantastic and the gardens around the homes are so beautiful. It was pleasant to sit outside at night and enjoy evening sounds. Marilyn is an excellent host and can answer any questions.
This is a tiny cottage near Loblolly Cove in Rockport with a charming and rustic feel. Everything you need is supplied and it is cozy and comfortable and spotless. There is a nice view and a nice little backyard, though we were always out at the beach! Marilyn the owner is lovely, communicates quickly and is so easy to work with. Greta place for great price!!
Perfect location nestled between Bearskin Neck and Good Harbor Beach. Lovely cottage and surroundings. Short walk to Loblolly Cove (as cute as the name implies). Marilyn was the ideal host. Provided so many suggestions for local sites, restaurants, etc. She was even kind enough to drop by to meet us. She's a delightful person. We'll be back!
The cottage was exactly how it was listed online. The place sets on a beautiful hillside with amazing views. The town was beautiful and tons of things to daily. Food, tons of shops and ice cream shops are just everywhere and they are very tasty. Not far from the train station which I absolutely loved! We spent 7 days exploring every corner and I’m definitely coming back. Marilyn is the best host ever and she was full of the sea side knowledge she’s so kind and pleasant.
We loved the “Wee cottage”. For us it was just perfect. I had been worried that it might be too small but the three of us were very comfortable. It is in a great place for walking and the shops in Gloucester are a short drive away. The kitchen was well appointed and my daughter was especially tickled that it had all the things necessary for cooking and eating lobsters. We were also very pleased with the cleanliness. We knew that dogs and cats were allowed to stay and were worried that it would affect our allergies but it was so clean that we had no reaction. The owner was also amazing to work with. She checked in to make sure everything was great and even organized a BBQ for us. She also went above and beyond to help get something we left back to us. Overall a five star stay and we will hopefully stay again.
The cottage is as advertised - rather small but quaint. The four of us were comfortable there. There is not a lot of room in the kitchen for bringing your own food supplies, but we were able to prepare most of our meals there. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. There is a nice beach about a mile away (Pebble Beach, I believe), and lots to do in town, and also in Salem and Gloucester.
Marilyn checked in with us and made certain that we had what we needed and also provided recommendations on restaurants and places of interest.
We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
Love it! It is not directly on the water, but has a wonderful view. It's quiet and calming. Marilyn is wonderful to communicate with and is very willing to help in any way. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for: small, but roomy and very comfortable. It could use a bit of updating, but what beach cottage doesn't? I haven't been that relaxed in, quite literally, decades. My wife and I can't wait to go back. Even our little dog enjoyed himself. Very much enjoyed the friendly neighbors and loved seeing the wild turkeys and beautiful doe that would pop out occasionally. Yes, yes, yes!
It was in the most beautiful quiet spot. The cabin is dated but thats what we loved about it, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Its also a short walk to a beautiful beach . Marilyn was amazing to deal with and we will definitely book with her in the future.

Cozy cottage with nice location and great view
Nice cottage with convenient location for exploring Rockport and Gloucester. Nice size for two to four people. Really appreciate that we could bring our pet. (He loved it also). Only comment is it’s a little pricey once you include the maintenance cost.

Horrible
Horrible. I reported this. Left 2 weeks early. Filthy. Windows wouldn't open. Coffee pot and toaster didn't work. Shower curtain filthy. Fan filthy. Cob webs. Window broken. Bureau drawers had trouble opening and shutting. No microwave. Oven filthy. Burners didn't work properly. I want the 2 weeks I didn't stay there rebates. False advertising.

Escaped asap
We expected the cottage to be small, probably older and a bit tired. That's what New England cottages are. This place exceeded our expectations. It was slightly dirty and needs a lot of repairs. Among other things, there is exposed wiring around the fuse box, the bedroom door knob fell off and is un-repairable, the bathroom floor mat was always wet (possible a leaking toilet), one of the stove burners didn't work, and the refrigerator was dirty. Aside from those things, you needed to be slim to use the toilet and an acrobat to use the tub/shower. We took pictures of some of the problems if you want to see them. This was advertised as "suitable for elderly or infirm". Only if you didn't want to use the bathroom. Nearby cottage with same design also advertised through VBRO warns of entry and bathroom problems. All of this made our stay unreasonable. We arrived Sunday afternoon and complained to the owner on Monday to see if we could get some kind of a rebate. We abandoned ship early Tuesday morning. Of course no rebate. We think that this is a case of false advertising and expect VRBO to frespond to this complaint.

Perfect week!
We loved our week in The Wee Cottage! Rockport is such a cute town, close to many other fun places in Cape Ann. The cottage was great for our family of four and our dog. It has everything you need, plus a beautiful view out the front windows. Beaches are within walking distance and the community surrounding the house is very friendly. Marilyn even popped by to say hello! We couldn’t be happier with our choice for our summer vacation!

Nice little cottage
Cottage is small but is clean and has all the necessities. There is construction nearby so if you like to sleep in, maybe not the property for you. The neighbours are great, helpful and quiet.
