About this property
Luxury Warm Springs Retreat: Riverfront, Hot Tub, & Steps to Lifts
Step into a world where luxury meets the wild beauty of Sun Valley—welcome to your Warm Springs sanctuary. Tucked away just two blocks from the Warm Springs Lodge and lifts, this 4-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom family retreat is not just a place to stay; it's where your mountain adventures come to life. Imagine waking up to the sound of the Warm Springs River flowing just outside your window, with Bald Mountain's majestic slopes calling you to a day of exploration. Whether it's winter's first snowfall or summer's golden glow, this home is your gateway to everything Sun Valley has to offer.
As you enter, the home immediately embraces you with warmth and comfort. The sunken living room, anchored by a grand wood-burning river rock fireplace, invites you to gather and relax after a day on the slopes. This is the heart of the home, where stories are shared, and memories are made. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame stunning views of the Warm Springs River and Bald Mountain, bringing the outdoors in and filling the space with natural light.
The gourmet kitchen is a culinary dream, thoughtfully designed for both function and style. Outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances, an expansive island with bar seating, and custom cabinetry, this kitchen is ready for everything from quick breakfasts before hitting the slopes to elaborate dinners shared with loved ones. The adjacent dining area, with seating for twelve, is the perfect spot to enjoy meals with a view—whether that's the snow-covered trees in winter or the vibrant greenery of summer.
The primary suite upstairs is your private retreat, offering a serene space to unwind. Light the fireplace, step out onto your private deck overlooking the river, and take in the tranquil sounds of nature. The ensuite bathroom is pure indulgence, featuring heated floors, a spacious soaking tub, and a large shower with three showerheads—two regular and one overhead rain shower. It's the perfect place to pamper yourself after a day of adventure.
A second suite upstairs offers another king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom with a luxurious shower. This space is equally comfortable, ensuring every guest feels at home. The third bedroom, located off the main hall, has two full-sized beds and an ensuite bathroom, providing both comfort and privacy. The fourth bedroom, accessible via a private stairway, offers two twin beds, its own balcony, and a bathroom with heated floors and a walk-in shower.
But the offerings don't stop there. This home is equipped with all the extras to make your stay unforgettable. There's a drying room that can accommodate 6-8 pairs of boots, so you can start each morning with warm, dry gear. For those who love to stay active, the home provides inner tubes, snowshoes, summer bikes, and tennis rackets, ensuring you're ready for any adventure the day brings. After a day of outdoor fun, head to the den, where a second fireplace, smart TV, and surround sound system create the ultimate relaxation space.
Step outside onto the expansive mahogany deck that stretches across the back of the house, offering unobstructed views of Bald Mountain. Here, the hot tub beckons—perfect for soaking away the day's efforts while gazing up at the stars or watching the moon rise over the ski runs. The outdoor space also includes a gas BBQ grill, making it easy to enjoy outdoor dining no matter the season.
And for those who value convenience, the heated two-car garage comes with an extra fridge, ensuring you have plenty of storage for all your supplies. A man door leads directly out the back, giving you quick access to the slopes—no time wasted when the powder is fresh!
This Warm Springs home is more than just a luxurious retreat; it's a place where mountain dreams are realized, and every detail is designed with your comfort in mind. Whether you're here to carve down the slopes, hike the trails, or simply relax in unparalleled serenity, this home offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Come and discover your new favorite place in Sun Valley—a home where every day is a new chapter in your mountain story.
Although this is a new listing, this home has been a beloved rental for years, with guests returning time and again to experience its charm. Here's what some of our previous guests had to say:
"Very rarely does a rental home exceed my expectations. My family and I have visited Sun Valley almost every ski season since 1995. We have stayed in TONS of rentals and none of them come close to this house. It comfortably slept 12 (8 adults, 4 children). The open spaces were the best part. Very comfortable with room for everyone to sit. The kitchen was a huge plus with upgraded appliances and a great layout. You can walk to the lifts, and nothing beats watching the cats work at night from the private hot tub! We will definitely be booking again. I highly recommend it to anyone interested. The pictures do not do it justice. It is so much larger than it looks."
Outstanding! Perfect for entertaining and relaxing!
"This was the top vacation rental experience we've ever had, and we've stayed at twenty or more properties over the years. We've rented Ketchum properties the last two years, but this was our first time staying in Warm Springs, which we found to be sunnier and more open than many other locations. This property is about two and a half miles and six or seven minutes from downtown Ketchum, on the last cul-de-sac in Warm Springs before the road heads off into the trees. The homes near the rental are very upscale, large and handsome; some seem to be vacation homes of part-year residents, which contributes to the feeling of privacy. The house is opposite the parking lot for the Warm Springs lifts, and separated from it by Warm Springs River, which makes it just short of a ski-in and ski-out situation during the winter. The front of the house has a big deck facing the river and an unobstructed view over the creek and up to Mt. Baldy. The house is a contemporary design, with handsome and comfortable contemporary furniture. The public rooms are perfect for group activities, but the four large bedrooms (each with its own bathroom) are located well away from one another, which makes for quiet and privacy. Our group consisted of three adult couples, and in planning this trip, I wanted to ensure that each couple had more or less equal quality private space. It's been my experience that many homes have a luxurious primary suite, but that the auxiliary bedrooms are much smaller and less well put together. No fear of that here. The primary bedroom is indeed luxurious, with its own fireplace, outdoor deck, enormous walk-in closet, and huge bathroom (double sinks, claw-foot bathtub, large shower), but the other bedrooms almost equal it in amenities. Each room is large and well furnished, with useful and handsome pieces—and good lighting. The beds are uniformly excellent. The bathrooms are all sizable, with granite countertops, and all have good storage and good lighting. The recent renovation is obvious everywhere but no more so than in the spacious and beautifully equipped open kitchen. We cooked a lot and found every possible piece of high-quality gear, plus enough glasses and china to serve twelve or more. The managers were helpful and personable and provided immediate service when one small problem developed. This was a great experience—what a house, what a stay! From now on, this is the standard against which all other vacation homes will be measured."
This home has been a favorite for years, and we're excited to share it with you. Come experience what so many guests have loved, and make your own memories in this incredible Sun Valley retreat.
