Enjoy island living in this fully furnished two bedroom two bath waterfront condo with fabulous views of the lake from living areas and master bedroom. Enjoy the cool breezes from your spacious tiled screened porch. All appliances convey with the condo, including the washer and dryer. Palm tree-lined streets wind throughout the neighborhood and the landscaping is lush and tropical on this 350 acre island of Isla del Sol. Community amenities include golf courses, tennis courts, and a heated pool and spa overlooking beautiful Boca Ciega Bay. Located just a few minutes from the Gulf beaches, Fort Desoto State Park, the Sunshine Skyway and yet still convenient to Tampa International Airport and to downtown St. Petersburg with its museums, theaters, restaurants and special events. Make this your island dream vacation.

Great location

Everything we needed was available. The community is beautiful with a short walk to the pool and to a private beach area. The owners were great to work with. We will be back.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property in the Bahia Del Mar area. The property was clean, check in was easy and the location is fantastic. Marce, was excellent to work with. We especially enjoyed our swims on the bay in the evening and seeing the dolphins swimming by in the afternoons. This is close to many excellent restaurants and beaches. We would will definitely be back. Thank you Marce for making this an enjoyable March.

Our stay was great, but the condo needs a major overhaul. The only furniture in the living room was a very uncomfortable futon. The mattress on the Murphy bed was old and lumpy. All the electrical outlets need replacing. The place just needs a little TLC, and it would be fantastic.

Hello: we take feedback very seriously as we like our guests to have a great stay. We recently renovated the entire condo. Check us out! I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry you felt the condo was not up to your standards. You are the first person who found any of the beds uncomfortable. The mattress in the front room is brand new and the one in the back bedroom is an innerspring mattress that is not that old and was not a bed that was often slept on. The futon in the living room is a new queen futon mattress and it is adjustable so that the back can recline back somewhat or sit up straight for different comfort positions, perhaps you did not adjust it for your comfort. As for "all" the electric outlets needing replacing, I am not sure what you are basing that on as they all work properly. I am sure we can certainly improve the condo by completely updating the unit, but while we are renting it we are not going to do that as in general renters don't take care of the property as an owner would. All of our other ratings have been 5 stars and we have had no complaints so far. It is very clean and stocked with everything a tenant needs to enjoy their stay.

A lovely stay in Isla Del Sol

Lovely stay at Isla Del Sol. After a long transatlantic flight - it was lovely to arrive at the condo to find it was like ‘home from home’ as the fridge contained water, there was washing powder etc.... so we didn’t feel the urgency to go to a supermarket straight away. The complex and the views are simply stunning. Would definitely recommend the condo as a lovely place to stay.

Better than staying at a 5 star hotel.

We enjoyed this stay so much! What a pesceful and friendly neighborhood. The view with all the palm trees and golf course is amazing and even prettier at night. The location is perfect with St Pete beach, publix and resturants just over the bridge. Super convenient. The place had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable.

Marce Lives in New Jersey. and purchased this property for her parents to have the opportunity to enjoy their vintage years with panache.

Marce graduated as a mathematician/Actuary in Mexico and studied at UCLA. Marce became an Assistant Professor teaching Calculus and Linear Algebra at the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico. Fluent in five languages, she has managed programs for the National Institute for the Indians in Mexico, UNICEF in Mexico, USA and Europe, Evaristo Valle Museum in Spain, and the American Field Service Intercultural Programs in NY (AFS).
As a business owner Marce built an arts management company (EFAL Artists) with a roster of 250 artists from all over the world. EFAL Artists operated in the USA, Mexico, Portugal and Spain. In the 90’s while living in Europe she sold her business and came back to the United States to become the Development Director of the Florida West Coast Symphony (now the Sarasota Orchestra). Marce currently manages day to day operations of her business strategic management, bookkeeping and CFO services for Jalima & Associate. Marce is and instructor for the Entrepreneurs Pioneers Initiative Program at Rutgers University and is a business coach. In 2015 Marce was named one of the top Leading Women Entrepreneurs in NJ. Marce enjoys the outdoors and spends on her free time, biking, swimming, playing tennis and great moments with family and friends.
Marce's property is decorated with international flair, making it a very appealing place to spend time and enjoyment while visiting FL.

Why they chose this property

Marce originally purchased this home for her parents and moved them here from Argentina in 2001. Both parents unfortunately passed away. She plans on having this home as her retirement place when she is ready to slow down and retire. In the meantime she has spends each year renovating the condo and making it and up to date and desirable place for all guests.

What makes this property unique

Isla Del Sol is a place where everyone is friendly, which makes coming home a pleasure. You never feel alone and always have a helpful neighbor around. There are so many amenities and activities for everyone. The cool ocean breeze is relaxing as you sit on the deck and watch the sunset.
