Situated in East Sooke~ Nature's Gallery. Easy steps to small pebble beach, close to hiking trails, miles of fabulous beaches, great restaurants, art galleries, fishing charters, kayak rentals yet only 45 minutes to the picturesque City of Victoria.

The cottage is cozy, fully contained has a seaside deck and patio furniture. This rental property is located in beautiful East Sooke, British Columbia, Canada. This East Sooke Cottage has 2 bedrooms with 3 beds, 1 bathroom, a floor area of 900 sq. ft. and a max occupancy of 4 renters. The base rental rate (before extra person fees if any are applicable) is for 4 occupants. Well behaved pets are welcome with a maximum of 2 pets and a one time pet fee if $25.00 per pet.

Wonderful older house that is well maintained and has everything a family could need. The grounds were nice, enjoyed the picnic table. The beach is small with pebbles, but some of our family went swimming. Overall a grear place to stay

Beautiful hideaway

We had an absolute perfect time. We felt at home. The view was amazing, it was nice and quiet and the Hummingbirds were fabulous. The cottage is comfortabel and provides in everything you might need.we absolutely recommend this place.

Quiet Cottage

Our family enjoyed our time at Ann's Cottage. It is a very quiet neighbourhood. The cottage is well-kept. A great treat were the hummingbirds and deer that visited the property.

We stayed for one month at Ann's Cottage. It is cosy and spotlessly clean. The interior is dated but the furniture and beds are newer and very comfortable. The location in East Sooke is remote from the town of Sooke and therefore quiet and private. Location is convenient for accessing many different hiking trails but it's a bit far to run into town for groceries.The host, Cheryl, is gracious and responsive to all our needs. Our dogs loved the huge yard.Check in was easy. The kitchen is tiny yet equipped with everything anyone could possibly need.

Lovely, restful vacation (and a great change of scenery during the pandemic).

Super-cozy and very well-stocked. Lovely property with access to the water. So much to do and see in the Sooke area - definitely a place to return to again and again. Cheryl was so accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. We’d love to come back.

Quiet and peaceful cottage.

More than satisfied with Ann’s Cottage. It was cozy, comfortable, very clean and roomy. Everything we needed was supplied. Host Cheryl was available for any questions…she and her husband were delightful neighbors, too. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay.

Excellent from the beginning

Lovely property and hosts! Everything was great and the attention to detail was phenomenal. From the welcome treats for humans and dogs to the pair of binocular that was left out for our use, everything was excellent and we could not be more pleased about our stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay

We had such a wonderful stay here, we saw otters, eagles, seals, plenty of hummingbirds and so much more wildlife. Our dogs loved the big yard and the beach area is essentially private so it’s fun to explore at low tide. The house is a little dated but is clean (thank you Wanda!) and has everything we needed for fresh seafood dinners. The fresh flowers, scones, and preserves are a nice homey touch as well. We can’t wait to return!

Little slice of paradise

Very nice property. So quite,comfy and clean. We did a few hiking trails and also bike-rides on the galloping goose up to the potholes .only ate out twice ,the food truck taste buds and Stickleback tap house right off the galloping goose trail recommend both. Cheryl lives right next door if you need any thing . All in all a wonderful find

Comfortable, quiet, private, clean, and relaxing.

This property is wonderful if you like peace and quiet, and enjoy outdoor activities. There are plenty of hiking trails, parks, swimming holes, beaches, biking trails etc. within 30 minutes drive of the property. There is a shopping centre, gas station, and a liquor store also close by and as we have to drive close to town to pursue some of the outdoor activities, it is very convenient to just stop by the stores before returning to the cottage stocked up with whatever was required. The rental price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay again.

Interesting spot if a little removed from sooke itself. Great for exploration purposes. Very fun to hear seals barking as we went to sleep in the very comfy beds (with good linens)!

Hummingbird Oasis

My husband and I and our dogs stayed at this lovely property. It is rare that we find accommodations that will accept it animals. The check in was very easy, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to have a great stay. The fresh cookies that awaited us when we arrived were stellar. There was a hummingbird feeder with nectar to refill it in the fridge. We watched hummingbirds come and go for hours. Excellent get away!

Needed time away

My wife and I needed to get away from snow and ice.We typically travel into the States for warmer weather. This year with all the commotion between Canada and the United States we felt it was better to stay home so Vancouver Island turned out to be our logical choice. It did rain Fair amount but we had several beautiful days. There are so many beautiful places to see and things to do.Location is definitely not luxurious but for our two pets and my wife and I to get away it was perfect a beautiful yard and quaint home to stay in exactly what the doctor ordered. Sure the coffee pot could’ve been a Keurig or something similar but that wasn’t what was needed. All we needed was a place to be away and this fit the bill perfectly thank you so much Doug and Cheryl we love Darcy and so did our pets.

Peaceful and quiet

The cottage had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the country setting. We would definitely recommend this to family and friends that need a tranquil getaway. An Amazing Stay In East Sooke !

We have stayed in many rental homes in the Sooke area over the last 15 yrs and have to say this cottage is one of our very favorites. Situated on the East side of the Sooke basin, it is very quiet and relaxing. The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and very cozy. The fresh cookies and flowers from the care takers Cheryl and Doug was a nice gesture and they made us feel totally at home. They are wonderful people. Looking very forward to going back soon again. Perfect beginning to a 77th Birthday

This little gem is absolutely perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of Victoria but close enough to get there in a pinch. Quiet and cozy. We were met with fresh flowers in each room, a welcome card and fresh baked cinnamon rolls despite the caretaker having a broken back! That's what I call commitment to being a perfect host!!!!! Days were spent exploring while evenings were spent watching the sunset on the deck. We recommend this cottage wholeheartedly!

Very tranquil

Beautiful waterside location. Very nice welcome package from Cheryl, carefully considered and thoughtful. 5+ for cleanliness, well equipped, comfortable, great views, visits from deer and humming birds. I live next door with my husband Doug and our Standard Poodle Lewy who is very friendly yet looks like white lightning when racing to the gate to say 'Hi'. My goal (that I gratefully work toward) is to ensure that guests feel welcome the moment they walk through the door...fresh flowers, Scones or Cookies await and I will happily put my concierge hat if asked. We respect your privacy however quickly available if needed. Best job on the Planet😊

'Nature's Gallery' East Sooke's Logo says it all. Abundant nature and wildlife, fresh air, hiking and walking trails and so much more YET a short drive to Victoria 😔.

What makes this property unique

Ann's Seaside Cottage is situated on a no thru street on Sooke Harbour with easy steps to a small pebble beach, with a beautiful handcrafted picnic bench under the apple trees close to the sea...it doesn't get better than that....we even had a beautiful wedding underneath the apple trees!

The cottage is funky, clean, a well stocked kitchen, comfy furniture, wifi, electric fireplace, books, games, binoculars...a very cozy place to call home for a few days or a few weeks.
