Dennis - Located on Historic Route 6A this 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home is across the street from Scargo Lake and within walking distance to Dr. Lords Beach. Sleeps 8, Private back yard is the perfect place to relax and read a book or sip the morning coffee. Ductless Mini Splits throughout the house to provide air conditioning. Just a short drive to Dennis Village, numerous restaurants, golf, the Cape Playhouse, and so much more! Make your Cape Cod summer memories here this summer!

Not as it seems

This property which has five bedrooms only had two ac units (which was not in the initial listing but confirmed to us two days prior to arrival) along with 2 box fans and a tiny desk fan which we couldn't use for the other bedrooms but for the main floor because of how hot it was. The listing also depicted privacy in the back deck covered by ivy. Instead you are overlooking a construction zone and workers along with me woken up every morning at 7 am by pavers. Not ideal at all on vacation. The refrigerator was ancient of days and didn't keep our food or ice packs cold /frozen. Realizing the realtors office never got back to us about getting additional fans we new asking for help with the fridge would be pointless. The primary plus of this property is the location of the beach. We loved walking to Dr. Lord's beach every day and for that made this property manageable.

Spacious and plenty of room but I would t return

It was a decent property overall. Enough room for 8 of us. However, we had a few complaints. What little lawn there is is completely overgrown - kids unable to play outside with lawn games. Tree branches overgrown in driveway making it very difficult to pull out into oncoming traffic on a very busy road. Kitchen was not well equipped ie not enough silverware, no blender or crock pot. A lot of junk in cabinets and draws and on storage shelf that shouldn’t be there if owners are renting out to public. We were lucky we had a nice week weather wise - only had air conditioning in 2 out of 4 bedrooms and no air conditioning anywhere else in the house. Lastly when we contacted the local property manager over water leakage in basement, lights out in kitchen and non working vacuum cleaner they were not that responsive. Eventually they assisted with getting us light bulbs and a vacuum but as far as we know the water in the basement was not addressed - at least not during our stay.

Good place. Good location.

House was nice and spacious. Actually different configuration of beds than listed. Beach was a pleasant neighborhood walk and pond was great.

Would definitely stay here again!

Large house with plenty of beds for our group. The kitchen was well equipped. The house was located within an easy walk to a very rocky beach but we were able to walk a bit further to Corporation Beach which we loved. The only negative was the house was on a very busy noisy street.
