Gingerbread Cottage - Forest Setting - Available Winter Too!

When you arrive at this quaint cottage, you will have found peace and tranquillity just minutes away from activities and entertainment. From every window (and the deck) you will view dense forest - with not a neighbor in sight.

'Gingerbread Cottage' is ideally located on a hill just one and a half miles above the village of Fish Creek. Within minutes you can be at the waterfront, Peninsula State Park, Drive-In theater, Peninsula Players theater in the garden, restaurants and shops.

Inside the cottage you will find plenty of space for a large family or a get-together with friends. Two upstairs bedrooms share a bath and sleep six with two sets of bunk beds and two more twin beds.

The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and adjacent bath. The greatroom has a wood burning fireplace and a dining area adjoining a fully equipped kitchen. A wrap-around deck gets plenty of sun amidst the dense foliage.

'Gingerbread Cottage' offers privacy, convenience and charm at a low introductory price.

We love this neighborhood! Very quiet and close to Fish Creek. Make sure you bring your own towels. This is a more rustic stay. Difficult with young children who want to crawl around.

Charming Throwback Cottage

This property has a vintage, 70s throwback feel but is clean and well-maintained. Location is great and outdoor area was lovely for summer evenings.Our only issue was we stayed during an abnormally warm weekend (upper 80s) and the AC does not reach the room with bunk beds at all. This has been communicated to the host and will hopefully be resolved. Otherwise, we had a great stay as a party of 7 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog. Cottage is on the smaller side for square footage but we didn't feel cramped at all! Recommend but be cautious in the summer pending AC resolution. Would stay again!

This place is right in the heart of Door County yet secluded enough off the main rood to make it a peaceful stay. Very clean and comfortable with a great backyard and fire pit. Check in was easy and the place had everything we needed!

Relaxing and clise to everything we love

This is the 2nd year staying at this cottage and we loved it! All the amenities provided and comforts of home.Beautiful wooded location and peaceful. We love the back deck and patio with wood provided for our campfires. The hosts were communicative and accommodating. We can’t wait to stay again next year.

Nice secluded cabin in the woods. Cant see neighbors through the woods. Spacious cabin. Only downfall was trying to figure out which light switches actually turned on/off lights as many didnt do anything and a few outlets didnt work. Overall nice cabin.
