Gingerbread Cottage - Forest Setting - Available Winter Too!

When you arrive at this quaint cottage, you will have found peace and tranquillity just minutes away from activities and entertainment. From every window (and the deck) you will view wooded lot - and wildlife and visits from Deer.

'Gingerbread Cottage' is ideally located on a hill just one and a half miles above the village of Fish Creek. Within minutes you can be at the waterfront, Peninsula State Park, Drive-In theater, Peninsula Players theater in the garden, restaurants and shops.

Inside the cottage you will find plenty of space for a large family or a get-together with friends. Two upstairs bedrooms share a bath and sleep six with two sets of bunk beds and two more twin beds.

The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and adjacent bath. The greatroom has a wood burning fireplace and a dining area adjoining a fully equipped kitchen. A wrap-around deck gets plenty of sun amidst the dense foliage.

'Gingerbread Cottage' offers privacy, convenience and charm at a low introductory price.
We are dog friendly, we do charge pet fee of 25.00 per pet per day.
Please make sure to bring your own towels!

The cottage was immaculate and inviting inside. One thing was we couldn’t get the WiFi to work. I would certainly love to go back as the property was dog friendly as well. Nice stay and great location in Door County.

This was by far the easiest stay we've ever had! No tricky locks/codes; no crazy rules; and no neighbors to worry about. The pictures don't do it justice. Yes, the pit set has seen better days, and the patio set is plastic-but the bed was incredibly comfortable, the dining table and chairs were like new, the shower/bathrooms were sparkling clean, and the huge TV's actually worked! The surrounding natural wooded area was a delight for this plant lover, with the extra touch of newly planted flowers in every flower-box. It truly is an adorable gingerbread house! Door County rarely disappoints-bonus-perfect weather all week !

We really really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and very peaceful. There was plenty of room, fast internet and the cabin had almost everything we needed! It would have improved our stay if there would be some sort of option for laundry (even a mini washer and dryer) and the couch seems to be on its last leg. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the place to enjoy a weekend getaway!

We always enjoy our trips to the gingerbread cottage. Sitting by the fire pit as the sun sets is the best. Darryl always has lots of chopped logs ready to use. Close but not too close to the bustle of Fish Creek.

9 days in the lovely remote cottage that has gotten upgrades each year we visit! This was our 3rd year at this cottage and we absolutely love the privacy, firepit, king size bed, 2 bathrooms, dogs are allowed (we have 2 corgis), and close to our favorite town of Fish Creek but also close to most towns as well!
