This a beautiful home. It is spacious and very clean. We had enough room to gather and spread out as we wanted. The house is on a great lot with a grand view and it has easy access to town.
The house is beautifully decorated and clean. A large kitchen for cooking and gathering. All appliances are large, easy to use and very clean. There is no crockpot and no casserole dishes, but otherwise we were able to cook all meals for 4 days with not much trouble. The extra living spaces made nice sleeping areas and allowed us to spread out. The front porch view is lovely and we found ourselves hanging out there every morning and afternoon. The hammock out back was no longer operational, and while there is a fire pit, it is down a steep grassy incline and not handy to get to. The back patio is huge and a great place for shady meals. Towels, pillows and linens were hotel quality. The two queen beds were extremely firm. If you are a VT Corps of Cadets parent, the Corps walks right past the house at the end of the court during its fall and spring 13-mile marches. It's an impressive sight to watch 500 cadets in the early morning hours hiking back to campus.
Close to campus and a beautiful house for a large group

Great property. Spacious home. Listed as such, but having only two showers is a challenge with a large group. Also would have like tissues available in the bathrooms.

This home is beautiful, and is in a perfect location. We appreciated the comfortable bedding, and the inclusion of plentiful towels, soaps & shampoo in the shower, paper products, etc. The 4-stars are due to the perspective that the house could use a good spring cleaning to get to some of the "harder to reach" areas, in the corners, etc. The countertops, showers, bedding, toilets, etc were very clean however. In addition, the referenced hammock is in tatters in the backyard. So it is not usable, although we wish we could have during the beautiful Blacksburg spring weather! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. But with a little TLC, this home could go from good to great.
