We are a family of avid travelers and explorers. We both grew up in different parts of the world but settled in Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. We both love history and architecture, so Boston felt like home. We love sharing the world with our 2 children, and enjoying life as it comes :)

Why they chose this property

We wanted a vacation home away from everyday city living. We absolutely love White Mountains. We saw numerous homes in the area, from Jackson NH thru Denmark, ME. This house felt right as soon as we walked in. The charm and warmth of the home made us immediately fall in love. We made an offer on the spot and we are proud owners of the Shepherd River Farmhouse. What we like about the Brownfield is the quiet rural setting and proximity to everything that White Mountains have to offer. From skiing, swimming and hiking to shopping and sightseeing. It is the best of both worlds.

What makes this property unique

We love the brook that runs thru the property, christened Sophie's Brook :)). The landscaping around the property, as well as the exposed beams, wood celling, stone fireplace and pine wood floors, give our home that rustic, cozy feeling. We furnished the home with mixture of antiques, reclaimed furniture and personal items to make it unique. A lot of love and labor went into making it what it is, and we hope you appreciate and enjoy it as much as we do.
