This little cottage had everything we needed and more. It was clean, cozy and conveniently located, walking distance to the best breakfast/brunch restaurant ever, (Word of Mouth), and the capital building grounds were about a 15 minute walk. Would/will definitely book again when in the Salem area.
Location was perfect with easy access to/from I5 and the salem convention centre. short walk to convenient store and pub. fire place easily kept the cottage warm and was a nice added touch. would stay again if I am in the area.
This property is so lovely. Beautiful and cozy. Comfortable bed!! The neighborhood is just beautiful. The hosts were great about answering questions. I loved it so much. I will definitely stay again!!
The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, when we asked for some extra privileges. Our cottage was clean, quiet, and charming. I would highly recommend these hosts
The host was really responsive and had great directions and instructions for my stay. It was cozy and well situated, quiet neighborhood but close enough to lots of things. Only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the use of the bikes. Nighttime was rather chilly and I was grateful for the fire and that the loft was kept warm by the rising warm air. That plus the shower water never really got warm enough was the only reason for it not being a 5 star rating. I would stay again, but maybe more in the warmer months.
Wonderful location in Central Salem. Close to what we needed. Great fenced backyard for our service dog. That was certainly a bonus. We had trouble with the heating unit which I'm sure will be addressed by the host. The fireplace was a nice addition but it caused the smoke detector to go off. We did not try the fireplace while the ceiling fan was running as the host suggested. We also found the furniture to be uncomfortable. The host was responsive to our issues.
We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking wasn't the best. A permit was needed for street parking and previous tenants had taken it. Fortunately, we weren’t impacted because of our schedule. The owners were very cooperative and told us we could park in their driveway.I would stay there again.
Grateful for a nice dog-friendly place to stay! Had a little bit of trouble getting into the unit at first - 2 different door codes were sent. I think VRBO sent one in an automated email and then the owner sent another via direct message. Other than that and a little SNAFU where using the oven set off the smoke detector (I swear we weren’t burning anything!), it was a great experience.

Thank you for the feed back! We updated the code regularly and must have missed updating the automated info from VRBO. Thank you for pointing that out! You're not the first to mention the overly sensitive smoke detector so we will get that swapped out. Thank you for staying!
We enjoyed our stay here! It was near vineyard country which is why we chose it. It was more of an urban area than we would have liked but the area was pretty quiet. I will say the loft was a tight squeeze and we were both bumping our heads alot. Wifi access was good! The only thing we can't figure out is why most BandB's like Keurigs so much! We are pot if coffee types of people! Check in was also smooth and the parking pass was a bonus so we could park on the street near the house! The bikes and the yard furnishings were a bit dusty from sitting unused so we didn’t use the yard.
Very clean and inviting. My only issue was The lack of downstairs seating. The overstuffed chair could have used an ottoman because the chair height was uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Another condo chair or a love seat would have been great. I was supposed to have another person with me and if they came we wouldn’t have been able to stay because lack of seating. It is a one person cottage the way it’s set up.

Thank you so much for the feedback Cathy! You were not the first to feel the seating situation could be improved and we have actually swapped out that over stuffed chair for two reading lounge style chairs in front of the fire place. Hopefully if you ever decide to stay again it will be an improvement!
Such a cute little cottage! It was clean and comfortable. We are on a hiking vacation, so being able to do laundry was so helpful! We would definitely stay here again! Communication was great!
The cottage was clean and neat. The fireplace was not working, but the heater worked fine. The bedroom is upstairs with little headspace. Nice shower. Plenty of dishes, pots/pans, eating utensils. Good location.
Nice central location, easy check in, we couldn’t get the fireplace to work and place was a bit chilly at night and early mornings. A bit hard to access bed upstairs in loft due to low slanted ceiling (and I am a short 5’0” lady, but we appreciated the modern kitchen appliances and washer and dryer. Nice tidy quaint home in a quiet neighborhood.
