Loved the cabin, very clean and accommodating for our short stay! Only one complaint, please cut the grass, there were ticks, so reluctant to walk the dog in the grassy area, and it would have been a perfect night for a fire in the firepit, cool, not a cloud in the sky but, the grass was so tall didn't want to bring in the house more critters. Big thank you to the Mingo Saloon owner, helped us on off hours find a place to fix a flat tire and The Brown Garage taking the time to fix a flat tire on short notice. Spent the day, touring the area and visiting Snowshoe, which is so close by, maybe we'll be back during ski season. Thank you for the stay.
We loved this little cabin! It was adorable and clean, stocked well and decorated nicely. We didn't go skiing. We went to enjoy the beautiful foliage of our state and this spot did not disappoint! The view off of the deck overlooked a nice little fire-pit and another cabin with a colorful hill beyond.

There are no security lights or motion lights, we had to use our flashlights and car lights in order to see. There are no road signs or numbers on the house and we didn't know I'd we were at the right place. It needs a street sign with the name of the cabin or the house number. The place needs to be sprayed for ants and there was clothing left under one of the beds and in the washing machine. The lighting and no numbers on the house are a problem. It's pitch black and we arrived around 930 or 10 pm. Vrbo gave us the wrong code to get in so we had to contact the owner and he was fantastic, very nice
Nice cabin and very cleanWe enjoyed our stayThe only complaint we have is there are not enough wall hooks throughout the cabin otherwise things were great
Me and my wife just needed a few days for a break! We have no complaints whatsoever. We planned to ride the motorcycle to explore the scenery, but the rain forced us to take the truck instead and we were not disappointed. Cabin was easy to get to and access. Everything was clean. I'd like to revisit!
Awesome trip cabin was very cozy and clean perfect for me and my wife driveway is a bit tricky with my diesel pickup but overall great stay. Map it out beforehand cause there is no cell service. Host sent me pictures off the road and that’s how I found it
My husband & I spent 3 summer nights (June 23-25) in this brand new cabin. Perfect for two! The owner still has a little work to do on the property, but when it’s done, it will surely be a sweet little mountain retreat, especially for the winter skiers. Just a 1/2 hr from Cass, WV (scenic railroad trip) - the purpose for our trip. I highly recommend Cozy Cabin!!
Very nice cozy cabin. Small, but doesn't feel cramped. Fully equipped kitchen, even washer/dryer. Very efficient use of space. New, clean, and everything in working order. Easy to find, especially with owner directions. Not the most secluded location, but reasonably quiet. We stayed mid-June. Entire cabin comfortably temp. Would recommend.
The Cozy Cabin is the perfect name for it. It is a very cute cozy little cabin. Its location is very convenient. We went to Cass, Snowshoe, and a few other local places. Had pizza from The Kickin Chicken and it was delicious. Dennis-the host is fantastic. He’s very fast with responses to messages or questions. Checking in was very easy. I used Apple Maps and the directions took me right to the house. We even met the cleaning lady and she’s just the sweetest. I’m very happy with our booking.
