Everything was great, not sure if I missed it or it wasn’t in the listing but didn’t realize it was two separate units, still worked good. Hot tub and garage area were nice

Location was amazing. The spaces were very accommodating. Everyone was very comfortable. We truly enjoyed the outdoor space and spent alot of time out there. The grill was almost not useable as the iron burners were crumbling and falling apart that is my reason to score a 4. Over all very happy easily a five star stay.

Great place, great location

A perfect spot to home base out of for our conference in Ventura. Quiet, clean, private, and a great outdoor area. Steps to the beach, and also to a great market and a few small restaurants and businesses. Thank you for having us!

Rest and Relaxation by the Sea

We loved our stay. The spaces are bright and open. All the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to fix meals.location was great for exploring Ventura and Santa Barbara. Short walk to the beach and enjoyed the view of the harbor and sea lions.

It is in a perfect location, steps to the sand. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor room. Kids had a great time and the view from the balcony was priceless. Very attentive to any problems or questions that i had. The downstairs tv never connected but I never called about it, kids didn’t care.

Amazing property!

Awesome home, great location and well stocked for cooking. They even had a first aid kit which came in handy when my daughter got stung by a jellyfish! Much of our stay was cloudy and a little cold. We didn’t mind at all because we made good use of the hot tub and outdoor space. We made some great memories here and will definitely be back! Thanks Sunny Day!!

This property was an exceptional choice. Located just steps from Silver Strand Beach, yet it offers a stunning harbor view from the balcony and easy access to a calm Kiddie Beach with gentle harbor waters and some tide-pool exploration opportunities.The accommodations themselves were outstanding. With apartments above and below, the beds are comfortable, the shared outdoor common area is a standout feature, thoughtfully furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, an 80-inch screen for entertainment, two large dining tables, a convenient mini-fridge, a barbecue, and a spacious natural gas firepit—perfect for evening gatherings.Additionally, a few small restaurants with good food and a market are within easy walking distance, adding to the overall convenience. Considering both the prime location and the amenities, this is easily one of the best VRBO properties I have ever booked.

Outstanding Stay in Oxnard

Just finished a relaxing week at this Ocean View Combo. Its really like 2 apartments. Both had everything we needed to cook and enjoy Silver Strand beach steps away. The views were amazing and you could hear the sea lions barking. The beds were nice and comfortable for us with plenty of space to enjoy the great CA weather on the large outdoor patio. Its a beautiful place to stay. Near to grocery stores and restaurants. There are stairs in the upstairs apartment so be careful if you have small children. It was very clean and the communication with the property managers was amazing. They responded promptly to all questions. Thank you so much Sunny Days Vacation Rentals. Hope to return.

Major safety concerns! This place is not great for families! What is not made clear is that the 2 units do not connect from the inside. We have 2 kids and 2 bedrooms are in the downstairs unit and 2 bedrooms in the upstairs unit. Are we suppose to leave our kids alone in one unit on a major road? The outside grill is a major safety issue that the owners previously indicated in Sept 2025 that would be addressed...it has not been. It is not safe or usable. The outdoor sink does not work which makes the entire outdoor kitchen a complete false advertisement. The outlet that the jacuzzi goes into is not covered and is also by a hose that is used to wash off your sandy feet. Not Safe. The sharp knives are in a drawer with spoons, etc...not safe. When you open the dishwasher upstairs, the drawers come rumbling out with heavy dishes. Not safe. An if you want some privacy in the master bedroom, you can't lock the door because there is no lock. Speaking of locks, my wife got locked in the master bathroom 2 times because the 50 year old handle kept falling out/off. This place is not what it purports to be.

This property is in an excellent location, and generally our stay was great. That said, the property needs some TLC. The kitchen rug was so gross - I carried it outside. There are a lot of stains in all the carpets, perhaps due to pets. The appliances were nice, but no instructions and they were dirty on the outside. Lots of signs of wear and tear. The units are well appointed - lots of kitchen supplies, etc., although not organized well. The hangout room downstairs was really cool, but the BBQ was barely usable. The grates were burned out and filthy. We had to fashion tin foil grates to use it. The fridge in the bar downstairs didn't work either - we could have used that for sure. Overall, cool property, but definitely not an outstanding mark on the cleanliness - I would rate it as 2 to 3 stars on that front.

The photos make the unit look much larger than it is. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath downstairs and 2 bedroom 2 bath upstairs. The 2 units are not accessible from the interior. The kitchens were fairly well stocked but very disorganized. The built in microwave in the upstairs unit did not work. It was discovered that the plug was loose and we decided that we would just bring the microwave from the lower unit up. The fixtures and appliances and surfaces were clean, but the floors and carpets were filthy. Management did send someone to reclean the floors, but it really didn't help. We had to wear shoes to keep our feet clean and not ruin our socks. The carpets and rugs were very stained. There is an over abundance of extra bedding that was in the way and kept falling off the top shelf of the closet and in the closet of the upstairs bedroom that has limited space. There are no dressers in the 2 upstairs bedrooms, only hanging space. The downstairs bedrooms have larger walk in closets with dressers. Management was very responsive, but some of the problems need to be solved while the unit was empty. The location was great. It has a beautiful view of the harbor. The sea lions were entertaining. The beach is just around the corner. The downstairs patio area is quite nice, and the hot tub is very clean. However the grill does need a new baffle, the flames just shoot straight up. The units need some attention to detail, if that happens it would be a fantastic stay.
