Luxury home with a 40-foot dock to enjoy fun on the water with or without a boat!
Just as shown in the photos this beautifully upgraded home is the perfect spot to relax in comfort. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and a loft – sleeps 4 adults comfortably and the loft has two twin beds. The deck is perfect for enjoying fun in the sun for breakfast/lunch or sitting around the firepit in the evenings with a glass of wine. Enjoy this outdoor living space year-round. There is a tranquil view of the water from the master bedroom which also offers access to the deck, and has a master bathroom.
The updated kitchen is complete with just about anything you will need while away from home. There's a quaint and private courtyard entry. There is a laundry room in the house for those who may wish to do laundry while vacationing. The fabulous location offers easy access to the Channel Islands Harbor, Seabridge Marina and the Ventura Harbor. To complete the waterfront lifestyle there are two kayaks and two paddle boards. You are within minutes from the beach, shopping, restaurants, the farmer's market on Sundays, and Oxnard Park!

Please note there is a ring camera at the front gate, the front door and overlooking the back dock (not the back deck) for safety and security.

This home is even better than it looks in the pictures. It has all the amenities you could need and the kitchen is stocked with anything you might need to cook. The host was quick to respond and help when we had an issue and the check in/check out process was very simple. I would highly recommend this home and host and hope I have another opportunity to stay again!

Great waterfront Channel Islands Harbor spot!

We had a few friends meeting in town between SF/SD for a fishing weekend. The location was perfect, had a nice boat dock available for use (fit a 30' boat tip to prop), and the home was well-kept/stocked. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Great weekend, would recommend!

Perfect family spot

Our family loved our stay! Walking distance to the ocean. Loved being on the water and we used the kayaks and really enjoyed that too! Well stocked kitchen and we made a lot of great meals. Comfy beds and great having 2 bathrooms.

We couldn’t have asked for a better host than Reni. From initial inquiry to checkout she was responsive, helpful, kind, and flexible. The property is, as listed, on a canal and there were kayaks at your disposal. It was within walking distance to the beach and bicycle rentals. A five star hotel was also just a few short blocks and you could have a meal or drinks there. Situated between Oxnard Harbor and Ventura Harbor, you can rent boats at the former and take cruise boats from the latter to the Channel Islands or on wildlife spotting excursions. Highly recommend Yolanda’s Mexican Restaurant nearby. Avoid Portola’s Italian. The unit had everything needed to cook simple meals and the washer and dryer was a plus. We liked that it was secure and relatively private. I don’t think you can go wrong at Rose Resort! Thanks, Reni!

More than you could imagine!

Fabulous place in prime location. Loved the patio view & the wonder ambiance with the lights on the deck. Kitchen fully stocked & very comfortable bedding. We cooked & had everything you would need to cook a great dinner & bbq. The private deck & paddle boards were a great addition. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Home

This home did not disappoint! Being VRBO host we have very high standards and this home met them all. There is pretty much nothing you will need to make your stay enjoyable that Reni hasn’t thought of. It was super clean, comfy beds and linens. This home is beautifully decorated and the outdoor patio spectacular! Perfect location for a walk on the beach. Quiet neighborhood Reni was also really quick to reply to a few questions we had . We would highly recommend this home.

Quaint home on the water. We had a blast on the water kayaking and attempting to waterboard. Lovely atmosphere on the patio with fire pit and colored lighting, overlooking the channel. Only minor things to overlook (very dirty BBQ grill with low propane and no paper towles) but everything else completely compensated for it. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Thank you, Reni !!

Our annual trip to the beach July 24’. We were lucky to find this place. We have stayed at several Vrbo’s and most feel like an IKEA display room. This home feels like HOME. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, spices etc. seems like a small thing but the showers have amazing water pressure. Comfy couches and a large dining table. The large deck out back with a big propane grill and fire pit table. There is also a patio table to eat at. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy a sunset looking over the harbor area. We sometimes walked to the beach. It’s about a 10 min walk or a 1-2 min drive. There is 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards to check out the harbor. There is no beach equipment so bring your own. We never had any problems or issues but the host has all the info you need for the house in a binder. The hose was responsive, check in and check out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again

Beautiful comfortable home! The beds and couches were very comfortable (my husband is picky) and the kitchen was very well equipped. My friend had planned on an iron being available at the home (as noted in the listing) and the owner delivered a new one that evening (amazing unexpected service to ensure we had what we needed!) The back deck was great in the morning and evenings -- all in all a wonderful home for exploring the area.
