The Yellow House in Columbia MO is a family-friendly fully furnished home away from home. Bedroom 1 has a queen and a set of twin bunk beds. Bedroom 2 has two queens. Bedroom 3 has a queen, twin bunks. Bedroom 4 has two queens and twin bunks. Bedroom 5 has two twins. All five bedrooms have private bath rooms. We provide towels and bed linens. Kitchen is equipped with all the basics - pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and small appliances. A washer and dryer are available for use. Back patio has picnic tables and a charcoal grill can be requested.

Guys Golf Trip

The Yellow House is the perfect spot for our group of 14 guys. The great room gave us space for all to watch the NCAA basketball tournament. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. We will be back

Yellow House Stay

The house size was perfect for our group of 21. Lots of spaces for the children and adults to spread out. However, it was not clean. Dirt along the walls and corners in the bathrooms, couch cushions had crumbs, fridge was dirty, etc. If it had been clean we couldn’t have asked for better! And the price was very reasonable, for that size of house.

Family Gathering

The house was perfect for our family gathering (us, four grown children, and our grandchildren). There was space where we could all be together and enough rooms to also be spread out. We would definitely return for another family reunion.

Lots of space

The Yellow House offers plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and several areas where people can sit down and visit. It has a huge flat yard that is great for badminton and wiffle ball games. The patio and fire pit work well for smores. Lots of shade trees and plenty of parking.

Great place for multi families

So many beds and rooms. Great for families! We had an enjoyable stay. It is next to a gun shop and right off a main road. I wish I had google mapped it but the backyard was in the back and the house was fantastic

Early season golf trip

The Yellow House fit our needs perfectly and Lori was more than accommodating when i misunderstood the second payment policy. This wasn't our first visit to the Yellow House and it certainly won't be our last.

Wedding Central

This was was perfect as a home base for our whole family in from out of town for a wedding. Lots of space to socialize, plenty of bathrooms for wedding prep, and it really will sleep 25 (beds for 20).

Great place for group in town for football game

Our group of 10 (ages 4 - 40+) enjoyed our stay at the yellow house. Close to grocery store and short drive from downtown and campus. Ample parking for our group and PLENTY OF BEDS! We enjoyed the back patio and firepit. Far enough away from other houses, we weren't afraid to disturb neighbors. Would rent again for a similar situation.

Yellow House weekend stay

The Yellow House offered just what we needed and wanted for our family reunion. We were able to house everyone, and had places to be together and places to be apart. The large, mostly flat yard was great for activities with the kids. We appreciated having two refrigerators. Plenty of parking for all our cars. Things inside were not so precious that we were worried about being there. Host was very responsive to a couple of requests and questions before our stay.

Burgess Family stay

Our stay was what we needed, the house was large enough to accommodate our needs. There was some areas of the house that needed cleaned, like under the beds but other than that we had a wonderful stay. I would recommend the Yellow House to others to rent. We did have a storm go through Columbia and we lost power for a short time but as a former Boy Scout we were prepared and I bought a camp stove and was able to fix supper. We did get power back on quickly. It was a good stay.

Spacious but Shabby

The property manager was great in terms of communication. However, the pictures don't reflect the age of the house with its stained carpets and lumpy mattresses. We also had an issue with ants in the kitchen. On the plus side, there is ample space for large families with plenty of beds and bathrooms.

Great stay

Had a family reunion with 41 folks for an afternoon and evening of fun. Used the propane cooker and built a fire in the fire pit. All went well. Not all stayed over night, but of those who stayed it was a positive experience.

Family Celebration Stay

We were in town for our son's wedding - and the house is perfect for his groomsman & our family. We were able to comfortably host a post wedding day party for at least 40 people. The house is large, and yet cozy. The owner was quickly available when we had questions prior to booking. This home checked off all the boxes for what we needed this week.

Perfect space for big groups.

The yellow house is very spacious. We had nine adults and three children and everyone had their own beds and baths. The location is the east side of town which fits perfectly for our plans and it’s not far from anywhere in Columbia. We have stayed there multiple years. It’s a very comfortable weekend. A big beautiful backyard and patio for enjoying outdoors. And the owner is very responsive to any questions.

Great place for a mixture of adults!

We had people from all over the USA coming to town for a conference during a Mizzou football game week. We needed the most reasonably priced vrbo that would fit the most amount of people. This house WORKED! It has plenty of bedrooms and lots of bathrooms! There were several who commented that it was well managed and clean. When you use somewhere the first time for a variety of people you don't know if it will please everyone. We had NO COMPLAINTS and they all said they would stay there when we came back again. They even accommodated us checking in a day earlier because we didn't need the last day we had originally planned. Very accommodating! IT WAS AWESOME!
