Great location right on the lake. We enjoyed the paddle boards, kayaks and just relaxing by the lake. It rained for one day of our stay but there’s plenty to do within an hours drive of the lake cottage.

The cottage is centrally-located in the heart of the Barbee Chain of Lakes. It also has a great back yard with plenty of shade and room to play games. The host also provides plenty of backyard games for guests. The neighbors are also very nice and welcoming.

Unfortunately due to a death in our family we only were able to stay 1 night. The cottage is cute and right on the lake. We loved the mini split air conditioning! The listing is accurate and the beds were comfortable. Our only issue was the shower is very small and if you are a bigger person then you will have a bit of an issueThe hosts were great and communicated quickly whenever we had a question. It is a beautiful area up there and wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is excellent. We walked to dinner a couple of evenings. The outside area was wonderful. We built a fire, fished off the pier and the kids really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The inside area was just as pictured and described.We took extra trash bags and toilet paper. There was 6 of us in the cottage and we comfortable in the living space.

We had a great weekend stay! The house was great for the three of us. It’s on a quiet road. We had fun taking the paddle boards out. Communication was great and quick. The check-in and checkout processes were simple.

We came to fish for a few days and were not disappointed. The rental was exactly what we needed - plenty of space to park our trucks and trailers, a pier for our boats, and a tavern a block away. The cabin was cool and rustic. We caught 50 fish here in the fall and we couldn't be more pleased. We rent for fishing trips twice a year and we will surely be back here next year!

Beautiful setting. Has all the amenities needed. The owner/manager was very responsive to all communications. A bonus was that the neighbors across the street that own the dock to the right, when looking out to the lake, were very friendly. We used Aloha boat rental. That was also a very positive experience.

We were not familiar with the Barbee chain of lakes before booking this unit. This place is a gem that seems to appear out of the cornfields as we traveled north. The bungalow has a great location right on the lake. The unit accommodated the five of us (two parents and 3 adult kids) fine. While we had an issue with the water for the unit during our stay, the host was very responsive and helpful in resolving the problem. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this location again.

We had an amazing stay at Little Barbee Lake! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful lake views and quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind, and we loved spending time on the water and exploring the area.The location was excellent—close to great restaurants, hiking trails, and plenty of local attractions while still feeling like a private retreat. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out.We made wonderful family memories here and would absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside escape in northern Indiana, we highly recommend this place!
