Wonderful long weekend with famlly in your spacious, beautiful and clean home. Walked to the fireworks on the lake and enjoyed everything Big Bear had to offer. Great rental for extended family with people from grandparents to an 18 mos okd!
My siblings and I came with our kids. The yard was a perfect playground. The house was warm and clean. Great space. The kids had a blast in the upstairs loft. Everything worked perfectly. Nice kitchen. Open layout. Would definitely like to stay there again.

For our annual full family vacation, we chose this house because it seemed to more than meet our needs. We were disappointed to find the floors filthy under the sofa set which appeared to not to have been cleaned in months. The cabinets were very dusty. Our master sheets for the king bed were actually queen size, and when mentioned to the owner on the second day, we were told new bedding would be provided but it never came. The jacuzzi had alot of foam first use, and my granddaughter got a full body rash when she got home and doctor said it was from the bacteria in the jacuzzi. Two large frying pans were virtually unusable due to them being so scraped up. The ping pong table net was broken upon arrival, so that was not usable. We actually left a night early over our disappointment. When we told the owner, we were told if we had called them upon seeing these things, she would have had them taken care of. My feelling however is that these are things we never should have had to bring up at all. She offered nothing more than an "I'm sorry."

We take guest feedback seriously, but it’s important to clarify the timeline and facts of this stay.
After the first night, we proactively checked in and clearly let the guest know that if anything was needed during the stay, we were available to assist. At that time, the only concern mentioned was a possible sheet sizing issue. The guest also stated they were enjoying their stay and that the home was otherwise meeting expectations. No additional concerns were raised at any point during the reservation.
The guest chose to depart one night early as bad weather was approaching. Only after returning home did they send a message requesting a refund for the unused night, along with a list of complaints that had never been mentioned during the stay. They also indicated that a negative review would be posted if a refund was not provided.
We were never given the opportunity to address any of these concerns in real time. Had they been brought to our attention, we would have responded immediately, as we do for all guests. For clarity, the hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced after every stay, the home is regularly maintained, and items such as cookware and the ping pong table are in working condition (the net is removable and easily reattached if needed).
We stand by the condition of our home and the level of service we provide.
