We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Very nice place with tasteful decor. Andrew was extremely accommodating and very easy to communicate with in a timely manner. The cottage is so cozy, plenty of room to spread out and relax. Location was perfect for us, close walking trails along the river. Lovely place I would definitely recommend.
Host was quick to respond prior to trip answering questions. Property had one window air conditioner for the whole cottage in the dinning room, kept the cottage cool, but was relatively warm overnight. Cottage was clean and true to pictures.
Very comfortable. The outside needs some improvements but the inside was clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend additional pillows with two guests. Two pillows isn't adequate.
This place is amazing. The area is beautiful, quiet, and private. The property is clean, cozy, and inviting. The decor is beautiful and it literally feels like home away from home. Absolutely perfect accommodations for one person or 2 people. I look forward to booking this place again when I return to visit Buffalo.
Spent the weekend eating food and relaxing! The couch and bed was very comfortable. Neighborhood was perfect for our dog walks. House was close to everything you could think of to do in the area. Will be coming back!
Pretty much what we expected, old building, clean, bright & updated, very small shower & tight squeeze bedroom with a Queen bed jamed in between the side walls. The driveway is tight as the trees/bushes are in bad need of trimming & made it difficult to exit/enter/vehicle. Bring old the cottage floors were not totally level & gave me the "being on a boat feeling" when we walked. AC is two stand alone units that adequately cooled the place but noisy.
Small accommodations - bed is too big for the bedroom. Front door has to be locked at all times (maybe it’s because of furniture placement).Listing states air conditioning - weather unexpectedly turned warm & I questioned about air conditioning and was told they hadn’t installed it yet. Host told me to open windows and use the portable fan.Although the windows did have screens the sills were very dirty.
The property was perfect for us when visiting the area during the holidays! The owners have done a nice job with the design, and the property had new appliances and furniture. If you’re planning to stay for more than a few days, it’s conveniently located near everything you’d need, from a full-sized grocery store to restaurants. The property itself is nice and quiet, and it was great to have a private drive. We had our small dog with us and the yard was a nice bonus. Finally, the property owners were fantastic! We had a few (very minor) questions on check in and they replied back to us within minutes. We really appreciated that! When we’re back in the area we’d definitely consider staying here again!
