About this property

Peaceful Slumber/Free Parking and Wi-Fi

I am renting the spare bedroom in my home for guests. It has a double bed with a quality mattress and box spring for support and a very comfortable good night's sleep. All blankets, linens, pillows are provided. For your convenience, there is a night stand and lamp next to the bed There is a chair and small table in the bedroom also. A closet with shelves is available for hanging clothes. Added features for comfort include a lighted ceiling fan in the bedroom, and of course, central air and heat, is provided for a peaceful sleep. The home has a three season sun room which looks out into the backyard filled with blooming flowers in the summertime. The backyard also has a nice patio and bench for night-time star -gazing. The neighborhood is very quiet and the house is located on a cul-de-sac, therefore there is very light traffic. If you are a cat lover you are in luck as I have 2 friendly cats. I do not accept pets from guests. This is a non-smoking home. Of course, the guests have access to the home of common spaces with kitchen privileges. The kitchen is fulled stocked with cooking items such as pots and pans. The home is NOT handicapped/wheel chair accessible. I would appreciate it if the guests are vaccinated for Covid-19, but not required. I am Vaccinated for Covid-19. If the guests is interested I can direct them to the best restaurants, night clubs, stores, etc. in town. Thank you. Hope to see you soon.

Linda and Shady are wonderful hosts! She was great at responding to questions and was easy to communicate with. Great location for where I was working as well! Lots of cute restaurants to try in Champaign/Urbana and she can also give you recommendations!!

Linda & Shady were THE BEST!

Linda is so sweet and nice. Her home is immaculate. She was very warm and welcoming and accommodating to our schedule since we were staying for work. Her cat Shady was absolutely the best. My coworker and I both have/love cats. And every night shady would come in our room and hang out for about an hour and get some rubs and cuddle up on us. The way I see it, we got an excellent place to stay with an amazing host and an awesome bonus kitty to visit and help relieve stress at the end of the day. Highly recommend staying with Linda. And I truly hope I get to again.

Very Restful and Accommodating!

Linda was a wonderful host. I was close enough to the action of the busy weekend but when I needed to get away it was a perfect place to goto and stay. She was very responsive throughout the process and very accommodating. It is was everything that I expected. Very pleasurable time. Thank you and hope to stay here again.

You can soak in the beauty in the backyard with the blooming flowers. Also, if you enjoy cats, my cats are quite entertaining. The property is close to downtown Urbana and the University of Illinois. Both of these locations are filled with restaurants, clubs, and shops.
