Wolf Glen is situated on a private road and nestled in trees on Sonoma Creek, just a 2 - 5 minute walk to Glen Ellen village restaurants, shopping and world famous Sonoma Valley wineries, Wolf Glen offers all the amenities of wine county living at its finest.

This newly furnished, elegant 3,000 square foot home, designed for entertaining, offers lavish accommodations for 8 - 10 guests, featuring a gourmet Chef's Kitchen, living area with fireplace and new 65' Samsung flat-screen Samsung Smart TV, Sonos Arc soundbar with Dolby Atmos, private outdoor entertaining & eating area and offers a gas BBQ grill for creating that amazing meal.

Wolf Glen features 4 spacious bedrooms/5 bathrooms (3 full, 2 half), 2 bedrooms with new Tempur-Pedic king beds and 2 with queen beds fitted with fine quality linens; two of the bedrooms are en-suite with dual sinks, showers, and lavish soaking tubs. There are additional twin mattresses available to accommodate additional sleeping configurations. Three of the bedrooms have sliding doors with direct access to decks overlooking the beautiful Sonoma Creek and amazing scenery.
The kitchen is large and inviting with an island for food prep and entertaining. It is well appointed with a 6-burner professional gas range, new dishwasher, new large refrigerator and generous counter space. It is fully equipped with a compliment of spices, oils, vinegars, professional cooking tools and serving dishes.

Please note, Sonoma County Code Section 26-88-120 requires the following:
The quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM and must be observed by all guests.
The maximum number of guests allowed is 10.
The maximum number of guests allowed for a gathering is 16.
The maximum number of vehicles allowed is 4 (all parking must be on property and not in front of our neighbor's properties).

2nd Time - Just as Good as the First

This is a great home base for wine country. We’ve stayed here twice and it’s been amazing both times! The home has really comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms and showers for all the guests and is fully stocked with everything you could possibly imagine. This is in a quiet corner of Glenn Ellen is a really great city near Sonoma.

Wolf Glen is Fantastic Home Away From Home

Our group of 6 had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful and well-adorned home that was a very short walk to the quaint Glen Ellen town center. The house was stocked with everything we could need - it truly felt like home! We will definitely plan our next trip to Sonoma around being able to stay at Wolf Glen!

Great house and location

This house is even bigger, nicer and cleaner than the pictures show. It is in a great location walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and bakery. It was big enough for 10 girls to stay. It was very clean and fully stocked with anything you could need for your stay.

Wonderful home in the perfect spot

Wolf Glen was just a wonderful place to rest our heads. With plenty of room for the 4 of us and the perfect tranquil setting, we were able to get to the north and south wineries, restaurants, hiking and shopping with ease. The kitchen had everything!!! and great village market and bakery was an easy walk from the house. Dave was responsive and very helpful. Overall, I highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Wolf Glen

The entire process; from communicating with Dave to solidify the reservation, the information we received in advance of our stay, the stay, and the follow-up; of renting Wolf Glen was excellent. The cliff notes version: Dave is thoughtful, responsive, and communicative. The house is clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything Glen Ellen visitors might need. The kitchen was amazing – several of our party oohed and aahed at the selection of spices, vinegars, and balsamics. The location of the house was perfect – plenty of parks to explore, beautiful countryside to run/bike through and, of course, wineries to visit. I would highly recommend Wolf Glen! The more detailed version: My fiancé and I wanted to host a joint Thanksgiving/Birthday party over the holiday. My whole family came from the East Coast and abroad. We wanted to make their trip worth their while. In advance of renting Wolf Glen, Dave let us stop by to visit the house. We loved meeting him. (Side note: Dave volunteered to help us in anyway he could with our wedding planning for the following summer before he knew whether or not we were actually going to rent the property. It was not one of those idle promises, we spoke with Dave several times about our wedding. It demonstrated of the kind of gesture that seems common for Dave.) Our visit to the property confirmed our desire to rent Wolf Glen. Wolf Glen was perfect for my family of 8 (7 adults and one toddler). Several of the closets are huge, so we put a pack in play in one of the closets and voila, my nephew had his own room. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 with their own bathrooms and 2 that share a bath. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable. The house has a very open concept, which meant the toddler could run around and we always knew where he was. The continuity between the kitchen and the living space allows for the cooks and the not so culinary inclined to still get some time together. The house was a great, central home base. People continuously popped out and popped back throughout the day. Its central location made it easy to drop by quickly if something was forgotten or sit for ten minutes before the next activity began. While I did not go to watch TV, they did have the premium cable package. My fiancé and I tried to steal some time away to catch up on season 2 of Homeland to no avail. We did, however, have access to every Thanksgiving football we wanted to watch. Bottom line: I highly recommend Wolf Glen!

Perfect for a week in wine country!

The house is beautiful, comfortable and serene. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the peaceful river in the comfy chairs. We also enjoyed the location - a great quiet little neighborhood very close to the heart of Glen Ellen. Les Pascales French bakery and the Jack London Saloon were big hits with our family.

Beautiful home in a great location

This house was beautiful and very comfortable for our group of 8 women. However, our stay started out on a rough note when after a long day of travel from the east coast, we were not able to get into the house. The host had provided inaccurate information and we were only able to get inside because a neighbor knew the lockbox code and was willing to tell us. The host did not return my messages or phone call for more than 5 hours after I reached out. We also were made to feel a bit unwelcome when the host stopped by the property a few days into our stay and questioned why we were using the AC, despite it being 95F earlier that day and still over 80F at the time.Other than these issues with communication, our stay at the property was lovely. The sound of the stream behind the house was very peaceful. We loved being such a short walk from the French bakery and grocery store and went to both businesses frequently during our stay! We were also centrally located to visit wineries in the Kenwood and Sonoma areas.

Perfect getaway

We are a group of 9 women celebrating a milestone bday. This house is perfection. We felt at home from the moment we arrived! There is plenty of space inside and out for a large group to gather or break out into smaller groups. Sleeping arrangements are flexible to accommodate sleeping solo or with a friend. The location is walkable to restaurants, wine tasting and convenience stores. We hired a driver to take us around wine country and it was super easy and picturesque!David is very welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable! We appreciate the entire experience, gained a love for Glen Ellen and hope to be back before the next milestone bday!

Wonderful Stay

My family had a wonderful stay at the property over the Thanksgiving weekend. David, the host is super nice and so very easy to work with. The property was perfect for the 8 of us and we felt we had enough space to relax in our separate quarters when needed. The kitchen is a dream and stuffed with all the things one would need to cook and beyond. Great house and neighborhood, definitely would love to return in the future!

What a wonderful, relaxing, perfect summer vacation for our family. The location is great, we walked and got hot coffee, fresh bread, pastry in the mornings. Very close to Imagery Winery and BR Cohn Winery both delicious wine and family friendly. House has AC, plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We'll definitely return, the house was perfect.

Beautiful house walking distance to a cute town

We had a fantastic stay! Wolf Glen is very well appointed- and literally steps from a bakery, a market, and a very fun saloon! We also loved that you can access Sonoma Valley Regional Park from Carmel Ave, and Jack London State Park right down the road (we loved the museum and the hike to the Wolf House ruins. Great 2 family getaway!

Perfect property in the perfect location. Walking distance to a wonderful market and pastry shop as well as multiple dining options. Moments away from wineries yet feels secluded at the same time. The house is perfect for a quick stay or extended. Fully equipped and very well maintained. The backyard is a picture perfect park like setting with a stream. Can’t be beat. Definitely stay here. Wonderful House and Perfect Location

This was the best appointed house we have ever stayed in. Everything was provided and the house was extraordinary. It was a great location for exploring wineries in Napa And Sonoma Valleys. The really quiet in-town location was great for groceries, restaurants and especially pastries! Five star all the way.

'Wolf Glen' derived its name from the many Jack London novels that were about wolves. Jack London lived in Glen Ellen and the state park named after him is a short walk from our home.
As for the 'Glen' part, the trees are so beautiful that we had to use 'Glen' in the name. Pictured is our dog, Potus, who extends his warm welcome. We do hope that Wolf Glen is all that you want it to be and more - enjoy!!

Why they chose this property

The creek, the trees, the tranquility and the location to restaurants, wineries and the Glen Ellen Market make this home ideal for visiting the wine country. We have looked for a home in Sonoma County for years and stayed in vacation rentals throughout the wine regions and finally settled on the town of Glen Ellen due to its central location in the Sonoma Wine Valley and its proximity to the Napa Valley. Once we settled into the town of Glen Ellen we fell in love with the heart of the community and everyone we have met.

What makes this property unique

We found Wolf Glen on a lark and fell in love with it immediately. The home feels elegant and sophisticated and offers a unique balance of privacy and access to the heart of downtown Glen Ellen. We can walk to restaurants, winery tasting rooms, and a gourmet grocery store yet the home is on a private, quiet road and feels as if it is in the middle of nowhere. The stars at night are amazing. Just a short walk from the home we can enter into Sonoma Regional Park and hike up in the hills, or drive a short mile and be in Jack London State Park.
