Line up your next bocce shot in the enclosed backyard, just a 2-minute walk from Séamus Wines and Ty Caton tasting rooms in Kenwood. This three-bedroom, two-bath ranch sleeps 8, with central AC, a gas grill, and Sugarloaf Ridge trails 10 minutes down the road. Garage parking included.
The Space:
Spend mornings on the patio with coffee as Kenwood wakes up, afternoons walking to Séamus Wines and Ty Caton or hiking Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, and evenings around the fire table in the backyard with s'mores and a bottle from the day's tasting stops.
Settle into the sitting room for a quieter lounge moment, separate from the main living space where sofa and armchairs circle a wooden coffee table. Cook with Sonoma County produce in the bright L-shaped kitchen, where a window over the sink keeps things sunny and the gas range, dishwasher, and microwave handle the work. Gather eight around the dining table before everyone scatters back outside.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Step into the large enclosed yard, where composite decking flows to stone patios with picnic tables and wicker seating. Pour drinks at the fire table for s'mores and scary stories, or challenge the group on the regulation bocce ball court. Mature shade trees shelter the lawn — room for yard games.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Sleeps 8 across 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths:
- Bedroom 1: King bed
- Bedroom 2: 2 Twin beds (can be pushed together to create a king)
- Bedroom 3: 2 Twin beds (can be pushed together to create a king)
- Living room: Sofa bed

Guest Access:
Spread out across a private backyard with multiple entertaining zones, then warm up by the white-brick fireplace inside this single-story Sonoma Valley ranch. You've got the whole home, with a BBQ, outdoor dining, and an enclosed yard. Your check-in details land before your stay; the garage holds two cars and two more fit in the driveway.
The Neighborhood:
You've landed in the heart of Kenwood wine country, where world-class tasting rooms line Highway 12 just outside your door. Walk 2 minutes to Séamus Wines or Ty Caton Vineyards for your first tasting. En Garde Winery and Hamilton Family Wines are equally close at just 0.2 miles. For morning coffee, Pillowfight Coffee is a quick 1-minute stroll. Stock up on picnic supplies at Kenwood Market, also just a 1-minute walk away. When you're ready for dinner, Stella restaurant awaits 0.2 miles down the road, or try the gastropub fare at Palooza Brewery, practically next door. For hiking adventures, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park's 25+ miles of trails are 10 minutes by car, while the closer Annadel Park (1.2 miles) offers easier access to nature. The famous Ledson Winery castle is just 2.4 miles away. Unlike bustling Sonoma town, Kenwood offers a quieter wine country experience — you're here for the vineyards themselves, not the shopping.
Getting Around:
Kenwood is about 75 minutes from San Francisco via 101 and Highway 12 — a scenic drive through the heart of Sonoma Valley wine country. You'll have parking for up to 4 vehicles between the garage and driveway. A car makes Sonoma Valley easy to explore — tasting rooms, restaurants, and parks run up and down Highway 12. For tasting days, plan a designated driver or book a rideshare ahead — it makes the whole day easier.
Other Things to Note:
The home stays naturally cool thanks to mature shade trees, though you'll appreciate the central AC during Kenwood's hot summer days when temperatures often exceed 90°F. Take advantage of the regulation bocce ball court in the backyard — it's a rare amenity that makes for memorable evening tournaments. The twin beds in both guest bedrooms can be pushed together to create king beds, giving you flexibility for different group configurations. While Kenwood offers world-class wineries, dining options are limited — plan to cook some meals using the full kitchen and gas grill, or drive 10-15 minutes to Glen Ellen or Sonoma for more restaurant choices. The primary renter must be 21 or older.

Clean, convenient, comfortable
After a long day of hanging out and having fun, the best part was the being able to sit on the back porch and unwind with a glass of wine. Large back yard made everything seem very spacious.

Sweet home
The home was clean and the outside space was amazing. We had 2 couples and 3 singles and everyone fit comfortably but the home seems best suited for a family with children given the twin bed situation.

Cute house with everything you need!
It was a great location to visit Napa Valley! We had 7 women, and we all fit comfortably. The backyard was large, and quiet. Great place to relax after a full day at the wineries!
My friends from the East Coast and I enjoyed our stay in Kenwood. The house was very clean and was equipped with everything that we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was perfect for local wine tasting.

Wonderful home-highly recommend!
This home exceeded expectations! Beautiful and quiet neighborhood! VERY clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. Back yard is wonderful with plenty of seating, games to play. There was plenty of kitchenware for a larger group which was much appreciated! Beds were very comfortable! Definitely connect to the WiFi, cellular isn't good there, no plm with WiFi. I will definitely look for Vacasa homes going forward!

Nice location and nice neighborhood. Home not as comfortable as pictured or described. Don't be deceived by the picture of "large" front groomed yard and porch. House sits right on the street and landscape is overgrown on front porch. Smelled very musty inside, as if it hadn't been occupied in a long time. Primary bedroom and bedding needs upgrading. Bed frame was hanging out beyond the mattress/box springs (a toe jammer at best) and not a proper fit. Bedding for the King bed not as pictured, an old fashioned light weight quilt fit for a queen bed. Rented in late November, house was 52 degrees when arrived and took a long time to warm up. We didn't use them but recommend a queen bed instead of two twins in one of the bedrooms. Front door lock box needs replaced!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location. We’re addressing the housekeeping and maintenance concerns and will continue working on updates to improve future stays.
Enjoyed the spacious outdoor area with its different seating areas and assortment of games. Rooms are also good-sized.
Local market and restaurant made life easy as did the property’s good location to a huge Safeway. Napa, Sonoma, St.Helena and Yountville not too far away.
We were grateful for the responsiveness to our requests for an outdoor umbrella and grill.
In need of a large spaghetti pot and shelf in the smaller bathroom.
We had a lot of fun!

Peaceful with great walkability
Perfect, quiet location. Loved playing bocce, enjoying meals outside and fire pit. We walked to nearby winery and eateries. Close market. They had bbq delivered on our last day. Would have been nice to have one while there. Home is very clean, would have given 5 stars if King bed was comfortable. There's 1 king bed, not 2 so that should be changed on the listing. We would consider coming back for sure.

Good location and clean home
This location is great, a very quiet house that was clean and it has a very large backyard with fruit trees. However, there is only 1 king bed. The other two rooms have twin beds. The toilets do not flush robustly, The toilet in the primary bathroom would run off and on. We informed the property managers, but it was not fixed on our stay. We also had no internet for our entire stay and it was not fixed and we were expected to be involved in trying to trouble shoot the problem. There was no TV service either as the TV relied on the internet and cable. We were issued a partial refund for the problems with the internet but it was an enormous inconvenience for us. Also the lock box on the front door to get in is very awkward and it only had one key, which can be tricky if you are coming and going at different times.

Not satisfied with property rental
Original listing was inaccurate:
-said 2 king beds and 2 twin, but actually 1 king and 4 twins
-master bed mattress was sunken in and very uncomfortable, there had been a previous recent review that mentioned this and Vacasa had said the issue had been addressed
-said cable was included but actually no cable because account is behind in payments, so we could not access any tv service, even using our own accounts as listed
-wifi was not strong enough to be useful, even for accessing email
Musty smell in house when we arrived
Strange smell in refrigerator
Master shower metal drain cover was broken and posed cutting hazard to feet
Soap dish in master shower was corroded
Original listing has been changed since we booked this house, it is completely different now.
We submitted a review to Vacasa on 6/30 that addressed all of these issues, which is why our rating appears as 3/5 stars, but in their new listing they only show our positive comments, none of the negative ones.
Vacasa has given us a partial refund of $667 out of the $2,100 that we paid, but given the above issues and their recent efforts to remove the previous listing and all of our negative comments, which seems extremely misleading to future customers, we feel that we should receive a full refund.
