If what you are looking for is a big kitchen where you can cook and eat just like you do at home, we aren't the place for you. For that reason, we limit stays to one week. But if you're wanting to relax and enjoy the local eateries, we have many to choose from.

About the host
Hosted by Janie Casad

I was married in 1982 and moved onto my husband's family property. I am a retired Christian school teacher. I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for the unique ongoing blessing to live on this property even since my husband passed away after 37 years together. This place is so much a part of his heritage.
Why they chose this property
My grandfather-in-law purchased the greater property back in the 1920's. My parents-in-law bought part of it in the early sixties. When my husband came of age and needed his own place, his parents subdivided again and gave him 3 1/2 acres. On the greater property was this cabin that his great-grandfather had lived in during the depression. Our dream was to move it to our side of the creek and rebuild it to be a guest cabin. We completed the project in 2008, listed it in 2012, and would love to share it with you.
What makes this property unique
As you drive across our bridge, you will be greeted by huge oaks that provide shade for the park area. The property is bordered on one side by the creek and a well-kept vineyard on the other. The rose garden and other flower beds will delight you. We have strived to create a peaceful, park-like setting apart from the hustle and bustle of life where you can find a quiet place without TV to reflect and smell the roses.
