This is a large 5 bed / 5 bath single family home which is located on a very quiet residential deep waterfront canal in oceanside Key Largo. There are no bridges to the ocean and within minutes of your 70’ sea wall dock, you will be in the open waters of the Atlantic and the John Pennekamp State Marine Park which offers spectacular reef diving, deep & shallow water fishing, bird watching or general exploring on the flats, channels and reefs surrounding us. This home has a HUGE outdoor entertainment area with a large heated pool, heated jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen and a beautiful tiki hut all of which have a full southern sky exposure which is so important for your Florida Keys vacation. You will have great sunshine all day long at the pool, dock and outdoor entertainment area which is exactly where you want it. Of course, there's also plenty of shaded areas to enjoy the outdoors as well, if that is your preference.

Our location gives you immediate access to a labyrinth of mangrove creeks and waterways for endless days of kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing, reef fishing, diving, snorkeling, bird watching and jet skiing or..., just relaxing by the pool. Additionally, there are several nearby beaches that you may take your family & friends to in order to further enjoy our keys lifestyle. Bring all of your water toys and have a great time! The area surrounding us is pristine and protected since we are located inside the boundaries of John Pennekamp Park. There is no need to concern yourself about boating here because the navigation routes are exceptionally well marked and easy for anyone with even minimal experience on the water to comfortably handle. The depth of the canal directly behind the home is over 12' deep and we can accommodate up to a 70 ft. boat or a combination of smaller boats. Less than a block away are two of the top 10 restaurants and bars in Key Largo as well as bike, kayak and guide services which are all within a 5 minute walk of the home.

Without a doubt, you'll find yourself relaxing every day in the large in ground heated saline pool and jacuzzi. You and your guests will thoroughly enjoy our spectacular TIKI HUT with a "50 inch SHARP TV" that is located under the tiki and available for your TV fix - should you feel compelled. BTW:..., we have a total of (3) 50 inch TV's in the home for everyone to settle in and watch TV if so inclined. Also, there is an awesome blue tooth stereo system under the tiki in order for you to play your favorite music while you enjoy the laid back Florida Keys environment. In the outdoor kitchen area, there is a traditional three burner "FIRE MAGIC" BBQ gas grill and a seperate 4 burner HOT flat iron griddle. You'll be having your morning coffee and breakfast outdoors everyday with bacon, eggs, sausages, crepes, pancakes or french toast and I'll bet that you'll have your lunch and dinner there as well. Additional equipment in the outdoor kitchen are a two compartment built-in fryer for your fish fry's and a standard two burner propane stove top "FIRE MAGIC" station that will allow you to cook your traditional meals or have a great lobster boil! Our guests spend most of their time outdoors with all of the conveniences which are available at this property. In addition, for your use is a high capacity ice machine that is outside in the outdoor kitchen area which takes care of all your ice needs. There's no running out to get ice for your party at the pool or for your boat, we always have enough. Finally, the tiki area and the back yard have great outdoor lighting which will keep you out at night until the early hours of the morning and the pool and jacuzzi are illuminated for night swimming and relaxing as well.

An important aspect in choosing your vacation home in the Florida Keys is controlling those pesky "no-see-ums" and mosquitoes which can be a problem at times. Most, if not ALL of the other rental properties do not address this issue. We are equipped with an electronic mosquito misting system that is automatically programmed to virtually eliminate these pests. We use a safe non-toxic insect control formula that is exclusively available at the finest restaurants and hotels in the Florida Keys in order to practically eliminate the very real nuisance of biting insects. You and your guests will spend most - if not all of your time - outdoors enjoying the fresh ocean breeze and the warm Keys sunshine without the worries about bugs joining you for dinner!

This beautiful home is located on a quite, wide residential canal with full access to the open ocean and a short boat -or bike ride- to Florida Bay and the some of the best back country fishing in the Keys. There are a number of bridges close by as well if fishing from land is your desire or you can fish on the rear concrete dock which is great for action from snapper, grunts, barracuda, snook, tarpon, parrot fish and even an occasional shark or Goliath Grouper. Manatees and porpoises are seasonal visitors and we have quite a large of family of Green Iguanas that will keep you entertained all day long. Big George is a 4' iguana that is a ham and loves too have his picture taken. You will experience the essence of the Florida Keys with all kinds of animal & bird life. Ospreys, Herons, Egrets, Brown Pelicans, Redtail Hawks, Falcons, seagulls and song birds are regularly seen and heard from the backyard entertainment area.

We are located a block away from a FULL SERVICE MARINA and two of the top rated restaurants / bars in the Keys. There are professional charter fishing operations as well as licensed professional dive boats (SCUBA and SNORKELING) and sightseeing boats, full service dive shop, lobster & stone crab fisherman, kayak rentals, etc. This area is within walking distance from the home and it just oozes of old Keys lifestyle which is laid back and relaxed.

This home has a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 15 people. The downstairs area has a two bedroom two bath unit with a full kitchen and an insuite master bedroom along with a full size washer/dryer and living room with a new Sharp 50" TV. The upstairs area is the main home with an additional three bedrooms and three baths. This area also has another full kitchen, living room -another Sharp 50" TV- formal dining and another washer/ dryer set for your convenience. Two of the bedrooms have in suite bathrooms, so the bathrooms are located in the bedrooms (2 master bedrooms). The second (larger) master bedroom is on the third floor and offers incredible privacy and a new king sized bed. The third bedroom as well as all the other bedrooms in the house have brand new and very comfortable queen sized beds. There is an outdoor hot water shower at the "Motumbo station" which provides for great fun..., Motumbo is a 7' high custom wooden carved outdoor shower caddy who is always available for group pictures and posts online to let your friends and family know more about your vacation adventures in Key Largo. In total, there are six hot water showers on this property and they are all supplied via multiple instant (tank less) hot water systems. That means that you and your guests will never run out of HOT water to bathe and at the end of a wonderful day on the water..., that is really priceless! Finally, the parking available at the front of the home can accommodate up to nine (9) cars comfortably as well as a boat trailer.

The house is located on a 70' dock with direct ocean access which is within seconds of the property. The fishing right off of the dock is great as well and will keep you and the kids busy when you are home relaxing. I have an plumbed outdoor fish cleaning station as well as a bait freezer for your convenience and they do get a lot of use. I've daily priced the home very reasonably and in researching the other homes available in Key Largo I feel confident that this home in particular gives you the most bang for your buck when choosing a keys destination for your next vacation.
