We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and had an amazing view. Even with the directional drilling happening nearby, the view was still absolutely beautiful, and the noise level remained consistent throughout our stay, so it really didn’t bother us. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need, along with so many extra touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. The spaces for the kids were absolutely amazing and made it such a great place for our family. You can tell a lot of care went into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. The beach access is right next door which was great. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, family friendly getaway!

Relaxing Family Vacation

Our family had a great time with fantastic views of the water, sounds of the waves, and a few short steps to the sand (which was helpful to be so close with 6 kids!) The house was comfortable, large, and felt like home. Jeff and Lauren were great and easy to work with, and we felt like they really cared about our visit. We are looking forward to booking again in the future!

Wandering Dunes is very welcoming, very family friendly. A kitchen full of everything you need to feed hungry beach goers, friendly octopus figurines to find & just a minutes walk to a gorgeous beach. Our crew, aged 6 through 64, had a blast.

Family Friendly

Stayed for a long weekend with 6 adults and 6 children. The house exceeded our expectations, especially when traveling with kids. House is spacious, clean and has all the little amenities to make a large group trip feel manageable. The hosts were receptive and booking was easy. Would absolutely stay there again.

Sublime family time

I cannot over state how much I love this house. It has three grown up bedrooms, all kings, two downstairs hangout spaces, two great kid rooms, walking distance to the beach, accessible sand area right in front of the patio hangout space. The entire home facilitates 3 families to enjoy one another and their children while having a lot of adult space!

I don't often write reviews, but I felt it important to let others know about the construction. The view to the north has been blocked by new construction. To the south, new construction as well. They do not work on weekends but did work on Labor Day.The price per night is too high, with all the construction/noise going on. The house is nice and it is close to the beach. The playrooms for the kids are very special. The construction on both sides of the house was just too much for us to fully enjoy our time here.

We always love our stays at Wandering Dunes

This was our fourth consecutive year staying at Wandering Dunes. It has been wonderful every time. We bring the kids, their significant others and grandkids. The setting is gorgeous and the house is so kid-friendly. The host is so friendly and helpful too. I can't recommend this home highly enough.

A perfect to me

Had my immediate family out for 10 days and we had such a lovely time with absolutely everything we needed and more. The 2 y/o ran himself silly on the beach and we made memories to last a lifetime.The weather mostly cooperated but the huge table and the game room helped even raily days at the beach super fun.

Wonderful weekend, helpful hosts

Our whole family enjoyed a wonderful time! The beach is great and so close - with the boardwalk helping us knock off some of the sand on our way back. The home is in great condition and gave us so many spaces to spread out or come together. Our little girl (6 yrs) loved the special spaces for her to play! And whenever we had a question, our host was just a quick text away.

Wonderful stay!

We had an amazing 3 days at Wandering Dunes! The house is beautiful, well-supplied, very comfortable with gorgeous views. Loved walking to the beach and then hitting the hot tub afterward. The open kitchen was great for snacking and baking while watching football playoffs. Perfect spot!

The owners, Lauren and Jeff, were so kind and accommodating to our family. They facilitated such a wonderful trip going above and beyond with more amenities for our little ones than we could count. They have thought of every last detail to make a trip feel easy and comfortable. 10/10 a must stay!

A great family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at wandering dunes. The house is beautiful and provides spacious common areas as well as excellent bedrooms. There are great views from the house and the board walk provides direct access to the beach. Overall a great place for a beach getaway and very helpful hosts!

Beautiful house right on the beach. The host was incredibly thorough, thoughtful and responsive. Can’t beat the views from the house and from the hot tub! they’ve thought of everything (beach chairs, kitchen utensils, etc) for your stay. It was also really nice being right next to the boardwalk to the beach. The neighborhood is really growing so construction will be ongoing for the foreseeable future, good to ask host about noise (eg a house is being built right next door but there was no work being done during our stay Friday evening - Sunday morning).

This is a great house with a fantastic location, very easy access to the beach, well equipped with everything you need. The host Lauren is very quick to respond if you were to need something. We had a great time staying here, I give it 5 stars.
