The home was recently remodeled and is in excellent condition from the cleanliness of the property to the quality, upkeep, and condition from the appliances to the bedding, furniture, and linens! We always ensure the upkeep of our home and its furnishings! Our two-bedroom, two-bath air conditioned and heated home has bedrooms located on opposite sides of the property which makes for a quiet peaceful night’s sleep. There are 2 beds and sleeps 4. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room that sleeps 2 additional staying guests or if your party of 4 needs a 3rd bed for an additional 1-2 guests. Please inquire. Located just a short stroll down the street to world famous "WindanSea Beach", you’ll enjoy being able to just stroll down the block and not have to spend time looking for the elusive beach parking!

SECOND LOFT SYLE BEDROOM Located at the other end of the property is on the 2nd level upstairs, it is a loft style bedroom and requires climbing loft style stairs. The loft bedroom is Air conditioned and overlooks the Living Room but is super private and on the opposite side of the house from the Master bedroom. Kids love our Loft Bedroom.! There is all new bedding. New Queen Size Plush Stearns and Foster 16" thick ultra-comfortable pillow top mattress in the beautiful and large private loft style second bedroom. Just at the bottom of the loft stairs is the full size laundry room and a 2nd full bathroom with tub style shower with frameless shower glass door.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is a pass-through galley type accessible from the master bedroom suite and opposite end living room and along with a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances you'll need to prepare your meals.

There are 2 Cooling heads with one in the Master bedroom, and the other overlooking the Living Room located in the Loft bedroom.

In one word- Perfect….Cottage was exceptionally stocked with plenty of kitchenware, toiletries, towels, etc. Immaculately clean, plenty of privacy with both patios…Roland the owner was accessible for any questions and answered immediately. My wife and I would definitely go back to this residence. As a side note, we have stayed in La Jolla a number of times, and this residence, by far was the best!
Excellent vacation home in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, markets, shops and sights in La Jolla and Pacific Beach.Galley kitchen is well-applianced and well-stocked and modern washer and dryer were excellent.Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of dresser space. Great showers and plenty of towels. Ductless heating was great to have during our winter stay. The main outdoor patio was large, comfortable and very private. The furniture, umbrella, firechat table and decorative lighting made the patio very inviting.Nice to have off-street parking and street parking was also plentiful. The main entry from the parking area is through the master bedroom and access from there to the kitchen and living room is down a few narrow steps that might not be ideal for those with lower mobility.Master bedroom and main living area were not as bright as the bright photos in the listing and were closer to the darker photos shown there even on bright days. The sofa was a little hard likely because it’s a sofa-bed.Communication from the host, Roland, was excellent and he was very helpful and responsive. The host provided a generous stock of soaps and paper goods to get us started as well as a thorough, laminated handbook covering everything at the property as well as area information.
Awesome home and in the perfect location to explore all of La Jolla. Extra comfortable beds, private & well equipped outdoor area & quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay, great location, good communication with our host. The beds were comfortable, though the upstairs loft stairs were steep for us (60+). The location was great, quiet but walking distance to cafe, light groceries, restaurants, and the activities.
Well located little place with everything we needed. Roland was very helpful, especially when I realized we needed an extra night. Steps to the loft are narrow and steep but was fine for our older daughter who spent a few nights there with us. The beds downstairs and upstairs were exceptionally comfortable and it was nice to have parking alongside the unit although there is plenty of street parking available.
Perfect size for our family of 4. Close to so many beaches! Beautiful neighborhood and close walking distance to coffee! Would definitely stay here again!

The property is ideal for a couple of small family. It is very conveniently located, recommend a car. Everything works; appliances, a/c TVs, etc. I only have one recommendation: all shrubbery in pots need to be removed from outside premises and overhanging flowering tree needs to be trimmed way back to facilitate use of outdoor space. The outdoor space could be very lovely, but the tree droppings were just too much work to sweep up every day.
This was a great little house that worked great for our family of 4. Location is awesome. Kitchen well stocked with cookware. Also appreciated the owners prompt responses.
We were in the area to drop my son off for school and this offered us a great location to stay with beach and restaurants just a short walk away. We loved the nearby bagel shop and cafes. The loft bedroom does have a steep staircase so may not be ideal for all visitors. We would definitely stay again.
Meeting with our son who was visiting from his home in Europe this was just right for walks to the beach and restaurant, easy drive to other surf beaches. Patios provided nice outdoor space in evenings.
The home is very well located for walking into the Village. The neighborhood is quite and we didn't have any problem with parking. The host was very helpful and responsive when ever we asked for assistance. Highly recommend.
Very well maintained property was perfect for our 11 day stay in May. Location was great. Two outside patios made our stay delightful. Our host communicated quickly and touched base with us a couple of times to make sure we were settled in and were enjoying our stay.
This was a great place to stay in La Jolla. The listing was accurate and had everything you would need. The check-in process was effortless. What we enjoyed the most - having Monopoly there to play. Playing together provided us with a great memory as we are all competitive and at one time each of us thought we were winning.
This property was perfect for our family vacation of two couples. It’s more small/cozy than it appears in the pictures, but it worked out well for us. It was clean and very well stocked. We loved the private patio for both daytime use as well as evenings. We were within walking distance of the beach, shops and great restaurants. We would definitely rebook here!
We really enjoyed our stay in La Jolla. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit cool and rainy so we were unable to enjoy the outdoor area of the rental property for our spring break week. This made the house feel a bit small, but the neighborhood is great and the walks along the beach (just a few blocks away) were awesome.
We had a great stay in this beach house. 10-15 minute walk to the beach. A quiet neighborhood and the house was clean, which was important to us during the pandemic. The only downside I would say is the stairs to the upstairs loft are narrow and steep.
