About this property

Horn Lake Cottage (4 season, Lakefront), Burk's Falls

Three bedroom lakefront year-round cottage, with deck. Lakeside fire pit to sit beside and watch the sunset.

One bedroom with queen bed, one with double, and one with bunk bed (twin over queen). Fully equipped kitchen.

Private boat launch, with dock and use of kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and paddleboat. (Shared with 2 other rental cottages). A public boat launch is located at the end of South Horn Lake Road.

There is a backup generator which automatically works if there is a power outage.

You must bring your own linens - bedding, towels, and dish towels. Please bring your own blankets/comforters or sleeping bags.

Toilet paper, dish soap and shampoo etc., not supplied.

The property has a septic system.
The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.

***YOU MUST CLEAN before you leave, cleaning supplies provided. If cleaned properly cleaning fee deposit will be returned. Due to COVID we will clean extra between rentals.

Fire wood can be purchased on or off site.

Please control garbage to keep animals away, we can arrange for garbage removal.

The property is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Excellent cottage for Summer Vacation

Wonderful property. Shallow water for perfect swimming. Water was clean, free of weeds. Property was very nicely maintained. Highly recommended for family stay. Suggestion to owner, please cleanup thoroughly if someone stays with pets. Very well worth the stay

A wonderful stay

Wonderful cottage with a nice outdoor seating area for campfires and swimming. The inside of cottage is older but well kept and clean, very cozy and convenient. The rec room has lots to do in days of rain. Lori was always responsive and professional.

My family and I stayed at Lori’s cabin, we had a great time, lots of water activities, beautiful scenery, and relaxing vacation. We would definitely recommend this location, we look forward to coming back next year.

Great spot away from the city

Property was easy to find and had a beautiful view of the lake. Cottage was nice and clean and had everything you needed. Had a separate area that included ping pong table, pool, games, books, etc that would be great for larger groups or a family. Dock is shared with three other properties but was close to our cottage which was great. Cute muskoka chairs on the dock to take in the view. Lori was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend this property and would for sure return. Great little holiday!

My friends and I have come up to this place the past 2 years and absolutely love it here. The owners are amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. I Definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a great week/weekend. We plan to return again next summer!

Lake Horn cottage

Cottage is right by the water. Views are unbelievable. We met the owners, a lovely couple, right away and answered all our questions.....very helpful. Cottage was clean and spacious and very comfortable. The grounds around were pristine with muskoka chairs by the firepit and on the dock. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Amazing would deffenitly return

This was such a amazing trip for my family the deck comes with a door so my 2 yearold couldnt escape on us its located right on thr lake lori was so helpful in every aspect this cottage come with playing cards and games they have paddle boats and more thr only thing i would change is the location of the fire pit because its kinda off to the left of the cottage but still it was everything you could ask for and more and not to mention beauitful my self and 3 kids will deffenitly be returning. Thank you guys for letting us enjoy your beautiful cottage.

Nice getaway, beautiful sunset, lots of space. Outside structures are in need of some tlc. Wifi is there but not for customers.... but all in all it not bad with some activities already there example. Canoe, kayak paddle boat and wave boards. There is also a rec cabin with a pool table, ping pong table and dart board... this really came in handy when it rained. Remember no wifi.. there is one tv with no cable or antenna but if you want to watch movies they have a tone in the rec cabin. Overall it a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the great outdoors..

It was awesome!!

My family had an amazing time. The cottage was well maintained and clean and had everything you may need when it came to appliances and utensils. The owners were super nice and Lori was super helpful and sweet especially when we ran into some car battery issues. The location is absolutely gorgeous. My family would go back in a heartbeat. I'd definitely recommend this cottage to others. Thanks for an amazing time. Magda

I wouldn’t recommend this cottage to anyone with small children, the step downs into the bedrooms could be dangerous. Also very rocky walking into the water. It was okay for the weekend but I wouldn’t want to spend a week here

Beautiful scenery, but expensive

The cottage is located by the Horn lake, private little beach for swimming and launching boats. Beautiful scenery, close to town and equipped shared boathouse. However, it doesn't worth for the amount you pay. No wifi, no bedding, no shampoo/soap, body wash, toilet papers. Bed was too noisy and no ladder to the bunk beds. It took too long for the owner to respond to our inquiries.
