Spacious A-frame Lakefront house with views of the water from 3 of the 5 bedrooms. Fantastic 180 degree lake views from the spacious deck or lakefront lawn. Sleeps 10: Main large house has 5 very large bedrooms and two bathrooms.
An optional unit (for additional fee, please ask us for details) sleeps 4 (two queen beds), has its own deck, bathroom and full kitchen and refrigerator. This is a studio size unit, with an open loft above the main floor with the second bed in the loft. A great add on to the rental for in-laws, teenagers, or people you just don't want to be around! We offer the option of renting the additional small A Frame companion unit in conjunction with the Main House for an additional $150/night, plus $75 added to your cleaning fee. See the pictures and room descriptions for more information. We only rent this unit as part of a two house rental. We do not rent them separately on the same dates to different groups.
(Note; we require all renters to adhere to our maximum occupant limits. See contract for more information).
The Large house main floor has two large bedrooms (king and queen beds), full bath, and a large open great room combining kitchen, dining area and living room with full floor to ceiling windows to take in the views. There is a spacious sleeping loft with TV and King Bed, large reading chair, and a Peloton bike for your use. The main house has 4 "Mini Split" Heat/AC units so the house is always comfortable. This vacation home has been well loved for many years as a family gathering place during both the winter and summer months. It is the perfect place to bring your family to rest, relax, swim and watch the waterfowl, spectacular sunsets and sunrises or to just sit out on the spacious lawn in the sunshine! Great mountain biking and scenic walks right out the back door. Multiple excellent wineries are around the lake and within an easy 30 minute drive at the most.
We communicate extremely well and require renters to follow all house rules in terms of occupancy and usage.

The house is perfect for a fishermen’s lakeside vacation! The kitchen is stocked for any kind of cooking, the washer and dryer are so convenient, and the views of the lake are outstanding! The host was very accommodating with some last minute changes we had to make as well. We will be back!

Thanks Betsy for the kind words, we appreciate guests who recognize that our homes make for a great stay. Your group came all the way across the country and it’s great to hear it was worth the trip. And I know the fishing was awesome!
Thanks again and we look forward to your return visit!

The host, Jim, was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The house itself is just beautiful. Very nicely redone but still keeps the charm of an old A-frame. The kitchen was fully stocked with all your kitchen needs, gadgets and spices. We were there in winter and the house stayed nice and warm with the heaters and fire place. We loved the home and property and we will be back!
The property gave us exactly what we needed. Hot Tub was a great way to relax and enjoy our last night. We had a big family and rented both units for Spring Break. Rooms were clean and beds were really comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped although we did bring our own air fryer. We also brought a boat which we had to launch at the Clearlake Oaks boat launch. Roads are very windy and tight. The driveway is steep and has gravel so that can be challenging for some. The views and weather were perfect! Host kept in contact with us throughout our stay as well as the neighbor.
We enjoyed the house immensely. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was enjoyed by a few of us and easy to use. Views of the sunrise, sunset and moon were amazing. The host was available whenever we had a question and was very hospitable. If i needed a place to stay in this area I would stay here again.
We had a lovely time and breautiful surroundings right on the lake and house is beautiful, comfortable beds and we were able to cook great meals there too
The property is beautiful. Our family had an amazing time here, especially the guys with their fishing endeavors. Only thing is, i wish the gas grill worked for us, we had to opted out of bbqing and think of a 2nd option to cook our meats. Overall, we had a fantastic time. Will love to stay again in the near future.

Glad you enjoyed the stay.
Sorry that you had trouble lighting the grill.
There were exact instructions to turn on the red valve as the grill is plumbed to the house propane.
I just now confirmed it works fine when it has the valve opened. It ignited instantly.
Again sorry that was an issue I could have easily solved with a quick phone call.
The kitchen was fully stocked with necessities. The layout was perfect, plenty of space to hangout and sleep. The hot tub and lake was so relaxing and refreshing. We would definitely come again.
Nice house but towing boat not recommended road to house pretty narrow but doable
Very nice place

Thanks.
We launch 23’ Wake surfer boats as well as a 24’ patio boat at the property. Yes there is a dirt road from the county road, but there’s sufficient room and access on the concrete driveway and ramp for experienced drivers. We also recommend and provide details for launching and pull out directly across the lake in Clearlake Oaks for those who are inexperienced in towing/launching.
Our family stayed at the twin peaks, renting both units. The setting was tranquil and the best place we have stayed in Lake County. This place is a true get away and well stocked with kitchen cookware. There is ample room and beds for a group. We stayed during some cold and wet weather and there was plenty of heat sources to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I was very pleased with our stay, and will definitely be returning in the future. It was nice having the boat launch on the property so we didn’t have to drive multiple times into town to fish.
The property was well maintained and very clean. The view of the lake was amazing!
The launch ramp was easy to access with our 18’ boat.
My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Thanks Eddie,
We’re glad your trip was a success, in spite of the fishing results! Hopefully the bite is better next time!
Jim
Second stay at Jim’s place and the family enjoyed it. Weather wasn’t the best but the kids still had a good time with the size of the main house and hot tub. Jim kept in touch with me and had the place ready with less than 48hr noticed of booking. We will book again later this year.
The property is clean and spacious. It is in a pretty isolated area and our stay was relaxing and quiet. The house has everything you need (towels, fully equipped kitchen and is kid friendly). Jim is a great host and I would book again!

Thanks Jaime,
Glad you enjoyed the home and your visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Jim’s house! It was perfect for our group and even had a crib for our baby. The view is beautiful and the hot tub was a treat- it was clean and hot! The layout of the house was great and the kitchen was well stocked. There’s not much to do directly around this area, but that’s why we chose it. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed their dogs roaming around the yard and playing with our toddlers! This is a perfect place if you’re looking to do nothing and enjoy each others company!

Thanks Tricia,
Glad it worked out. This time of year the lake is very peaceful, lots of birds and wildlife. Thanks for booking with us.
Jim
The home was clean and fit our family of 7 needing 5 bedrooms and there was space for more. Everything was labeled so there was no guess work and the owner checked in, making sure we were comfortable. Our family rents a home every Christmas and my 83 year old Dad and my son’s girlfriend said this was their favorite stay.
We all enjoyed ourselves and I loved being able to see the birds, ducks and an otter( I think) right below the property.
I recommend this stay and you’ll have relaxation with privacy.

Jim was in constant communication the whole time during our stay. Everything was as described and both house was clean.
Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies to cook a few meals at a time. The heaters works well and was used as it was cold both nights.
The private boat ramp was awesome and accommodating for my boat and kayak.
The location produced big catfish for all the kids to catch and release.
The views from the top porch was beautiful and peaceful at night.
Both neighbors were not there during our stay and the property felt secluded and peaceful.
We will rent both houses again in the near future.
I will start off by saying we had the pleasure of having a great host Jim. He communicated very well was very polite and honestly just a super host. He was one call or text away from any question we may have had and we appreciated that more then ever. We rented the big home and the little one and they were both very clean and cozy. But let me tell you the view we had was amazzzing! We had a great time, relaxed in the hot tub with the view of a million dollars. We hope to be back here at Jim’s beautiful property for some fishing! Thank you for being an amazing host and allowing us to rent your homes!

About the host
Hosted by Jim Patmont
Family lake house built by my parents in 1967. Now owned by second generation (my wife and I). Second, third and now fourth generation family members use and enjoy the property extensively year round when not rented. We selectively prefer renters who respect property, like it would be theirs to enjoy the lake access, and value privacy and a family environment. We prioritize repeat renters.
Why they chose this property
We have had excellent reviews and comments over the years, (all 5 star reviews only for the past two years). The property was just completely remodeled in spring 2020. We invite you to research the comments in our reviews, which we are very proud of.
What makes this property unique
This home is on a very rural, remote part of Clear lake, directly across the lake from Highway 20 and Glenhaven and Clearlake Oaks. It is located on a private, gated dirt access road. It has its own boat ramp for launching. It has a large lawn area with a large Hot Tub, with all of it literally "lakeside". It makes for a great family vacation environment. You can take scenic walks along North Drive out the Sulphur Bank Peninsula for fantastic views of the lake, and Mt. Konocti. Wine tasting is all around the lake and county.
