Very beautiful place comfortable and cozy

Would of giving 5 stars but the TV and stream system needs a good set of instructions to operate. Otherwise a great place

Wonderful stay

My family of 5 stayed for two weeks at this condo and it felt like home. Very clean and modern, right on the beach with shops and restaurants within walking distance. We would not hesitate to go this route again for a family vacation and everyone we dealt with was excellent in responding promptly and making sure our needs were met.

Restful and Quiet

A lovely property. Spacious and wonderful ocean views from both balconies. The unit is very spacious so would be great for 2 or 3 couples. TV in living room was very large and lots of English channels. Would have been great to have a second TV in the Master Bedroom. There is no beach so the information in the listing should be updated. The beaches are also not within walking distance. We were a $6.00 cab ride to all restaurants and grocery stores. Listing mentioned MINUTES.... at least 30 minutes walking. Pool is beautiful. Concerning the location: the residence is on Erick Benjamin street, less than 500 meters (550 yard, i.e. 10 minutes walk) from the nearest shops. The center of town and sandy beaches are another 10 minutes walk away. All the best, Fabio

Great Condo with a beautiful view... but I had a few Issuses......

When I first booked this beautiful property, the last picture showed a beachfront.... unfortunately there is no beachfront....it got swept away with hurricane Maria last year ( I investigated to find out what happened ) I should of been told in advance of this situation or not have that last picture in there, because its not there. and if your told it's because of high tide season….. some one is lying. I would have not rented here. I was hoping to have a beachfront where we can cook our own food ,BBQ etc. It was down played once I arrived and told the beach is down the street..... the beach down the street was so small an dirty that we never went to it. So we rented a car ( add. cost ) so that we can go to the main Beach....which by the way is nice but be prepared to pay for chairs / umbrella rentals and food costs. would of liked to use the pool when my kids came down for the first 2 weeks but, the pool was murky. never understood why they would have the pool motor shut off during the day .It finally cleared up the last 2 weeks once all my family was gone....as a previous renter specified about the tv controls.... good luck with that. we struggled with it but finally figured out away to get it to work and believe me the instructions don't help . Wifi….It said it had high speed internet.… try again , It would have if it wasn't being shared from 2 apartments.. every other apartment had independent wifi. If the other apartment that it was shared with were on it, the TV streaming would lag constantly and speed was slow. my final thoughts.... If your looking for a beautiful place to stay, not use the TV or Internet, or just want the view by a pool with no access to the ocean. this is the place for you. BTW there's no BBQ. very Important I mention as much as I was displeased with the property, Enrico the property manager was great. every time I sent an email, he responded promptly to my Issues . Thank You Enrico.

A few clarifications: - The oceanfront in this residence has always been rocky.There is only a small sandy enclave, which comes and goes.Tenants who enjoy long walks on sandy beaches should contact us for alternative accommodations (or walk to the nearest sandy beach). - We had prepared an instruction sheet to automatically re-program the TV after storms, we will print several more copies now. - The internet in this residence is the best available, but Sosua is a small beach town in a tropical jungle... So you cannot expect streaming HD movies like you do at home. - during heavy rains, the color of the pool water changes as the chemicals are diluted - activating the pool pump during the storms won't change anything. The place is as it says luxury! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cable had issues but we don't watch much TV anyway. We were a little disappointed that there was not a microwave but the owners are trying to accomodate the health issues that seem to be being reported on microwave usage. The manager was a delight to work with and took care of every little problem that arose quickly.

Thanks Dawn for your nice review. Concerning the TV, the cable channels often become deprogrammed after violent storms, so they need to be automatically reset afterwards (it is a matter of minutes). Have a safe trip back home and we hope to host you again next year! Fabio
