Quaint home in a great location, very responsive host!
We really enjoyed our stay— the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating before and during our stay and even dropped off a high chair for us in the middle of the night. The neighborhood is very quiet and residential, close to Reykjavik, nice thermal community pools and a horse ranch. The main issue we found with the house is that it has very steep stairs which makes it difficult for those with mobility issues and makes it dangerous for young children. We didn’t see the stairs in the listing and were not aware of this issue in advance.

Dear Anna
In the listing we specifically put a photo of the stairs, which is all normal and not to steep, according to strong building regulations in Iceland.
The stair to the basement is from the year 1921 and has higher steps than normal. Glad that you enjoyed the rest :)
Take care

The place was lovely. Great for cooking. Well stocked kitchen. A few items to note. TV could not connect to the Internet to watch Netflix. Also Apple TV box would not connect. Also, internet could not handle much and would not connect to some webpages. Very convenient for all the sights. We rolled up the kitchen rug as I knew someone would fall.
