Welcome to the Alpine Pension Lodge in Leavenworth, Washington! No detail has been overlooked to make your stay a memorable experience. The Alpine Pension is a beautiful lodge located less than two miles from downtown Leavenworth in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.

This riverfront property is perfect for family reunions, small corporate retreats, gatherings of friends, and romantic getaways. Whether you are heading out on the ski slopes, hiking in the Cascades, golfing, mountain biking or just a lazy float down the river, the Alpine Pension lodge in Leavenworth is your ideal destination. If you are going to 'stay in' our large property is the perfect winter setting for fun outdoor games like snow football, snowball fights, Frisbee, making snow angels and creating your own Frosty the Snowman. Curl up in front of the wood-burning fireplace with cup of hot chocolate and watch the river. During the warmer months enjoy playing tag, football, Frisbee and croquet on the expansive lawn. For those seeking quiet solitude, we have a wide assortment of videos and board games to keep you entertained.

The house is amazing. So much space for everyone to come together and to spread out for quiet time. Great fully equipped kitchen. We used the grill which was sparkling clean. The game room was fantastic! Fun just to look at the memorabilia on the walls!! Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels, etc. the host was very communicative and very helpful. We had a fabulous time and would definitely go back for another stay. If you want to stay near Leavenworth this house is right on the river and couldn’t be better!!

We had such a great stay! The house was so spacious and well appointed with lots of room for our group of 8 to spread out! All reported the beds were comfy. Saw deer walking right outside the window from the soaking tub. Game room was a big hit. Something for everyone. Lots of games and puzzles too. We would love to return!

What a great Winter Wonderland!

We enjoyed all the room and beautiful rustic decoration s. The view is amazing. The family loved the game room . Such a great location , close to town also.

Amazing Weekend Getaway with Friends

I hosted a gathering of old friends at this amazing property in mid-May 2025. Many people traveled from all over to attend said gathering and were blown away by the fantastic property. The location on the river, fun gaming garage, and closeness to downtown Leavenworth made it an excellent spot for a group of young men who enjoy a pint or two of fine german libations. Cami the manager did an excellent job with communication prior to the stay and we had zero problems.I would highly recommend this property

Beautiful Father's Day Retreat

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Alpine Pension Lodge in Leavenworth, Washington! Every detail was meticulously thought out to make our stay memorable. The lodge, nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Cascade Mountains and just under two miles from downtown Leavenworth, offered us the perfect blend of convenience and seclusion.

Beautiful cabin on the river

Me and my group of friends had a wonderful stay. We had plenty of space to spread out but also gather for dinner together or to play games. The location was an easy drive to town. I would highly recommend staying here. Everyone left saying they had a great time and would come again.

Great place for in-house or in-town activities

We've stayed at this property multiple times and the experience has always been great. The spread is perfect for several families, with multiple en suites, kitchens, common areas, ample parking, and an amazing game room. It's also just a quick drive from the highlights in town, and on the west side it's easier to navigate the traffic and parking.

Perfection!

Everything about this home was perfect! Checking in was very easy; the kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance necessary to cook a large meal for a birthday dinner (and the Super Bowl). The beds were comfortable, and there were no complaints regarding heat. It was twenty degrees and snowing outside, and we were all very comfortable. It was the perfect home to celebrate our mom's 80th birthday. With 4 kids flying / driving in from California, Texas and Washington, it was a great getaway. The game room in the garage? So much fun! For large families, this is the perfect long weekend getaway, and we will definitely be back.

Amazing cabin!

We booked this cabin with our friends to ring in the new year and we had a fantastic time! Game room was out of this world. So much to do. Fully equipped kitchen. Had absolutely everything we needed. Hot tub, views of the river, cabin-feel, decorated - I give it all 5 stars. Host was very respectful and fast to reply. Loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Fabulous location

We loved this quiet spot on the river, which was only a short drive to town. There is more than enough room to gather everyone together for meals or games, as well as enough room for anyone needing a little private space away from the group. I'm having a hard time coming up with a unique compliment that hasn't been mentioned a dozen times already. It's all true - beautiful, spacious, well appointed, clean, great location, and easy communication with the hosts.

Fabulous!

We really enjoyed everything about the place! Couple of us did Enchantments hike on Saturday others stayed and enjoyed Leavenworth, location was perfect! Game room is a dream:), kitchen is well stocked up, and some certainly enjoyed in-bedroom bubble bath:). Minor nit: microwave has seen its days, barely heating, might want to replace. The perfect getaway

2020 has been an interesting year, and when the time came to get out of town for an extended weekend we looked for a quiet tranquil home close to downtown Leavenworth but not too close. This home was perfect. Large house, exceptional game room, large kitchen, on the river and with a hot tub. The house is beautiful and the area is perfect. We will definitely be coming back. Great family stay

The house was spacious for our group. The kitchen was very well stocked. We did not have to contact the property manager for anything, which in my book is excellent. The spiral stair case was a bit of a surprise for us. Those who did not want to attempt the spiral staircase were able to easily access downstairs via the stairs outside. Beautiful views of the river. A short drive to town. Highly recommend.

Huge beautiful house

This house is much larger than it looks in the photos. So much room to spread out! The views of the river are beautiful. We loved being able to fall asleep to the sounds of the river. The hot tub overlooking the river is awesome. The game room is really impressive! Our group had so much fun there. The house is a short easy drive from the adventure park and downtown. We were hoping to walk into town but it wasn’t as pedestrian friendly for our group with kids as we expected.

Best Big Group Stay!!

This place was amazing for our large bachelorette group. Everyone had a comfortable bed, there were so many rooms with large beds and bathrooms and so many places to lounge. The views were amazing and location was perfect! Very close to leavenworth downtown and on the river for easy floating. The attached game room garage was perfect for all of our late night hangs and activities. Check in and check out were super easy. There were so many chairs outside for hanging as a group and 3 refrigerators throughout the house which made it convenient for all of our groceries. Everyone in the group kept mentioning different events they’d love to rent out the place for in the future, 100% recommend!!!

Beautiful and Family Friendly

This VRBO is one of the best my family and I have stayed in. We had about four adult couples and two tweens; and the way this house is set up suits this very well. This house has two rooms with tub baths, sitting areas, and a personal bathroom. Another room down stairs has a tub bath and a shared bathroom with another bedroom. Upstairs includes two additional bed room, one with a bunk bed. Overall the house has 6 bedroom and a cottage. There are two living areas with kitchens up stairs and down, two fire places (though the upstairs one was not working during our stay), a propane grill, and a 6-8 person hot tub. He hot tub was clean and well taken care of. The cottage is wonderful for an additional couple with or without an infant, and includes a sitting area with fireplace and kitchen. The view of the water from the large windows at every level was breath taking and the house was decorated with Christmas lights which was a cute touch. The hosts even provided numerous board games and a pair of binoculars for deer and bird watching! The game room is extraordinary and has games to suit everyone’s interests. The house is located about 2 miles from Leavenworth, and a few minutes from the golf course where we were able to do snow shoeing and sledding (2 2-person sleds we’re provided by our hosts which was wonderful). As a family, we made many wonderful memories here, and are so glad we found this gem! Kelly and Camiekae were helpful and responded to questions quickly.

The property is an excellent venue for a big group. There are basically four master bedrooms with bathrooms either en suite or very close. A couple of the bedrooms in the basement have jacuzzis. The recreation room is like a huge man cave with a broad range of activities from pool to ping pong and darts among other stuff. Great location right on the Wenatchee River.
