A labor of love from 1977 to the present, you will find this re-imagined Mill to be an unforgettable stay. Appliances refrigerator, dishwasher and gas stove. Carved marble gas fireplace over 100 years old. All updating including insulated windows, repurposed wood floors on main level and antique doors, knobs , and hinges throughout. Hand built staircase to upstairs west bedroom with two queen beds. Library bedroom with one queen bed. Currently can sleep 8 with the first phase of the remodeling completed. Main floor master has a king sized bed and is handicap accessible with ramp on front of the Mill. Wonderful perennial beds that continually bloom throughout the growing season. The river is seeded with trout every two years and is available for your kayak or canoe. The snowmobile trail runs in front of the Mill and the bike trail is just up Water Street at the Chamber Depot. Washer/dryer provided. Cabinets are stocked with china and glassware for 20. Large dining table for 8 is a restored piece and originally a conference table for the courthouse dating into the 1850's donated to the project by the Jim Cook family. Keyless entry and WiFi (stream your premium accounts). Ten minutes from Fort McCoy and 20-30 from LaCrosse. Amish Country about 15-20 minutes away with great cheese houses and handmade goods. THE LOCATION to access the best of our 10,000 resident community. Kriskinglmarkt is the top Christmas market in the state and runs 4 weekends starting with Black Friday. The Sparta-Elroy trail is the first rails to trails program in the United States and boasts 3 tunnels on the 30 mile route. Opens May 1 and closes October31 annually. Kayak and canoe rental services and bike shuttle available. Owners own and operate Ginny's Cupboard on Water Street in downtown for over 23 years and live nearby for any questions or assistance you may need. Two day stay minimum and you will wish for more-love this spot!!

We had a wonderful girl's weekend. The mill is beautifully remodeled; the claw foot tub was amazing. We were perfectly situated near local trails and parks to meet our outdoorsy needs. Lovely hosts and beautiful accommodations. I would highly recommend.
