Description:
“As Good As It Gets” is a rare oceanfront residence on Sullivan’s Island offering breathtaking views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean as well as direct beach access. It is a truly memorable experience to live on the Atlantic, with several spacious oceanfront decks, an oceanfront pool, and two oceanfront dining areas. The house is perfect for families, offering five bedrooms and five baths, including two master suites on the first floor.

The main floor offers a living and dining room with the glorious Atlantic as the backdrop. Wake up to spectacular sunrises every morning framed in floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen is elevated and shares the panoramic views that often showcase dolphins and kite boarders.

Prepare your favorite meals in the gourmet, top of the line kitchen including a professional gas range. A large walk-in pantry keeps groceries out of sight. The 12-seat dining room with outdoor seating for 10 allow for easy gatherings. A BBQ gas grill is featured on the outdoor oceanfront deck and there is dining available oceanside by the pool, as well.

The second floor offers a unique oceanfront media room with a high-definition TV, comfortable oversized lounging sofa, pool table, classic arcade machines and a gaming table.

Everyone will be comfortable. “As Good As It Gets” has 2 master suites on the first level. The first master suite features an oceanfront, sitting area, king bed and private bath. The second master suite features a king bed and private bath. There are three bedrooms on the second level, two with queen beds, private bath and incredible sweeping oceanfront views. The final bedroom is perfect for children with a bunk bed (twin/full). The children also have their own private bath. There is a half bath on the first level.

Sullivan’s Island is a beachfront paradise, perfect for long walks, bike rides, beach activities including kite surfing, fishing, dolphin watching and most of all, complete relaxation. Fantastic week with family!

Spent the week here in June. Absolutely beautiful renovation on this house. Having stayed last at this property 15 years ago! We had plenty of space for 9 adults and 2 children. Beautiful view of the ocean from the main living area. Very convenient location for going to Charleston. So much to do in Mount Pleasant. Love the stairs to the beach. Thanks for sharing your property!

Super Stay on Sullivan's!

Family and friends week at Sullivan's Island led us to this rental. Great house, well appointed, extremely well maintained ... perfect for 2-4 couples with rooms upstairs for kids. Pool table, games and large screen TV for late night or get out of sun time. 10-15 minute walk to Sullivan's proper. Awesome views from large glass window abutting breakers, beach and ocean. We will be back!

Perfect beach front location. The usability would have been vastly improved if the house had pull out awnings over the decks. The bed linens were old and pilly. Odd that there were no beach towels. Particularly given the rates. The house has lots to do (re: pool table, video games). All in all, pretty good value.

Spectacular Stay

Wow. For anyone considering this house and wondering whether it is worth the expense, do not think twice. We just finished a 4 night stay for my brother's wedding and our expectations were well surpassed. Sitting in the living room, you feel as if you are floating over the ocean. The house is so thoughtfully designed, and all of our houseguests were thrilled with the treat of being able to stay at this spectacular property. I have stayed at many high end houses and hotels around the world, and this property ranks up as one of the best. No one will be disappointed here. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Fantastic Graduation Week in Sullivan's Island!!

Family spent the week at As Good As It Gets as we celebrated a graduation from medical school. This luxury home is truly oceanfront!! You cannot get closer to the water. At high tide the waves crash against the rocks literally feet from you. A heated swimming pool was an excellent touch. The home itself has clearly been recently renovated and did not lack for anything. I think the owner lives here in the winter and takes great pains to make sure the home has it all. Mid week cleaning was a nice touch and the management company was very responsive to any need. All in all a fantastic home and one we all agreed we need to visit again.

Perfect house

This house is truly amazing. The owner has gone above and beyond to make the vacationers staying in their home completely at ease and comfortable. I've stayed in rental homes from Maine to Florida over the last ten years and my husband and I agree that this is the best we've ever vacationed in. Often when we go on vacation, we say it's too bad that we always end up somewhere that isn't nearly as nice as our own home. Not the case here. Every finish and touch is quality. The owner labeled everything in the kitchen and it was all in great condition. I loved everything....from the soft towels and sheets, to the beautifully decorated home (not cheesy decorations), to the new looking tv's, to the electronic pool cover (nice for families with small children), to the outdoor furniture (in great shape, no rust or deterioration), just EVERYTHING. The beautiful furniture, the massage chair, the game room with video games upstairs, the screened french doors in the kitchen, the front porch, the provided drinks which everyone fell upon like scavengers after a long day of travel. The views are amazing. Dolphins every day. Kite Boarders most evenings at 5:00, which are beautiful and fun to watch. Fishermen in the evenings and weekends. The calm waters of the protected inlet/bay type area were great for kids. The full waves of the ocean came in every night. Everything was just gorgeous. I loved the outdoor dishes. Came right home and bought a set for my kids here! Profuse thanks to the owners of this home. You can't go wrong with this as your vacation spot.

Amazing week, beautiful home!

We were not ready to leave. The house was so beautiful and the views, from morning-to-night, were absolutely stunning. The beach is a few steps from the back door. We never had to drive more than a couple miles to find places to eat, grocery shop, buy tackle, etc. Everything we needed for preparing meals was available (pots, dishes, serving trays, flatware....). The staff at Beachside Vacations was courteous and responsive throughout the week. I would give this destination the highest possible ranking.

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home. The layout was fantastic, the view is gorgeous, the game room upstairs was an added bonus for the kids and the beds were super comfy. The kids looked for crabs and fished right off the beach in front of the home. It was a dreamy vacation.

The name says it all

We stayed in "As Good As It Gets" for our daughter's wedding weekend. The moment we walked in the front door and saw the ocean directly through the floor to ceiling windows, we knew we were in the right place. It is an "over the top" beautiful home, yet feels comfortable. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed the private beach, paddle boarding to the sandbar, sunrises on the deck with coffee and hanging out at the pool in the afternoon. The owner has obviously spent time thinking about details that would make a vacation home perfect for every age family member. We spent a very special weekend in our life in a home that felt like we belonged there. Our guests felt the same.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Spacious Home

We were very pleased with our weeklong stay at this great property. We found the beautiful home, with panoramic ocean vistas and the surf practically at the back door, to be accurately described. The property was immaculate, and comfortable with a thoughtfully well supplied kitchen and spacious living room/dining areas perfect for relaxed gatherings of groups of family and friends. The communication with the property manager was professional and courteous. It is clear that the owner takes great care and thought in making this rental a top notch experience for the guests. We enjoyed long days in the warm ocean, which was smooth and calm as the tide went out, slightly rougher and fun for our school age kids, as the tide came in. We twice saw dolphins in the shallow waters. There is a stair case at the back of the house leading directly into the beach/waves depending on the tide, and its a unique and great amenity! We used the pool, which has some shady areas when taking a break from the beach and cooked large meals together in the smartly laid out and organized kitchen and grill. I highly recommend this property for groups of families and friends, it's also great for families with kids.

Perfection

This was our 3rd year at 3109 Marshall. Our family enjoys the location and amenities of this house. The view is amazing! During low tide we have our own private beach (although the secret must be out as more people were on the beach this year). The kids love to kayak and paddleboard during low tide and ride the waves at high tide. We have already booked for 2018 and the kids are counting down the days!

A beautiful home in a beautiful spot.

Our 3 generation family loved spending time in your beautiful home. Grandkids loved the pool and the beach. Saw lots of dolphins and seagulls. It was awesome. What a blessing to cook in the well appointed kitchen. But we did sample a few of Sullivan's Island's restaurants too. Something for everyone.

Wonderful Stay at As Good As It Gets

We had such a great time exploring Sullivan's Island! The views at the house could not be beat! There was so much to do at the house like playing pool and enjoying a second living room. The kitchen had everything we needed and the front porch was great for relaxing! This is a visit I'll never forget.

A Family Reunion Charm

Eight of us came to "as good as it gets" to get a chance to see the East Coast and visit Charleston. This house had everything we needed with one exception. The tv in the upstairs media room would not change channels. We had a maintenance man come and look at it and he was unable to fix it and needed to get an AV professional. We were unable to use the room for four days and were mandatorily evacuated before it was fixed. We watched the Ryder Cup and several football games in the living room or separate bedrooms. Everything else there was as described or pictured on home away. We would love to come back at a later time and stay at this house again.

"As Good As It Gets"

After 14 years vacationing on Sullivan Island 12 of those at 3109 Marshall my family can't wait to return. It is clean and in excellent shape. Our favorite things to do paddle boarding, firemen's fish fry with children's activities, farmers market, "Post" Poe's and other restaurants. Boone Plantation fresh food from their gardens, Middleton Place, Fort Moultrie, Eating at Shem Creek watching boats , dolphin's Visiting Charleston many wonderful restaurants, aquarium, carriage rides touring the town, historic homes, churches.

As Good As it Gets - even better the 2nd time

This is our second year renting 3109 Marshall and it was as good if not better than last year. We actually booked for 2017 while we were there. Everyone loves the house and the location. I have evaluated other properties but this one checks all the boxes for us. The view is superb and during low tide, we feel like it's our own private beach. During high tide it feels like we are on a cruise ship balcony as all you see are the waves crashing against the rocks.

This was our 2nd summer to enjoy this beautiful home for our family vacation, the first time to rent a beach house 2 years in a row. We came back because it's truly "As Good as it Gets". The house itself leaves nothing to be desired but the VIEW is simply STUNNING! We love the quiet, private-like beach area, but also being able to watch the kids from sitting up on the deck if necessary. The staff is super friendly & helpful if needed. We enjoyed the mid-week cleaning as well; a nice touch. We have enjoyed the quiet serenity of Sullivan's Island which has become our choice for beach rental near Charleston. Oh, and we have already reserved this property for next summer. Why look any further when this property is "As Good as it Gets"?
