The location can't be beat. Very close to the Duomo and Via Citta. The rental is very nice size for being a central location. Best of all, the hosts are great. You will want to take a taxi or bus to the rental. On our checkout, the taxi drivers went on strike and Uber wanted 66 euros. Our host picked us up and drove us to the station. Simply the best!!
Truly a few walks away from all restaurants and the centre square.
Great location with a very comfortable bed, a few minutes from everything in Sienna, 10min from open public parking for the stay.
Great find, would recommended.
This property was fantastic. Right in the heart of Sienna. Property managers did a great job with check in/out and most importantly with parking. The kitchen (and coffee) was great!! We would definitely come back.
Pro’s
-Location was excellent, very close to everything
-Check was very easy as was check out
-Very cozy and cute place
-Nicely decorated
-Beds very comfortable
-Appreciated the bottle of water , cookies, and coffee
-Communication with owner was great and very helpful
Con’s
-Must take cab ride from train station, not able to walk this with luggage
-Bathroom very small, so if you are a bigger person it might be hard to maneuver around.
Overall we really loved this place and would stay here again!!
Loved the apartment and it’s location. Very clean. If you’re arriving without a car, it’s perfect but if you have a car, it’s a bit of a walk. Don’t let that dissuade you though if you’re able bodied. It’s worth the walk!
This is a lovely, tiny apartment only a block from the Duomo/ Piazza and across the street from a lovely historic church. Easy to get from the apartment to the main part of Siena. However, you will need to take a taxi both ways from the train/bus station to get to the apartment as it is a bit of a distance. We spent 15E each way. The city is a maze of tiny tiny streets and it was amazing but the taxi drivers knew exactly where they were going! The apartment is colorfully decorated in orange and we didnt get the significance until there was a procession thru the neighborhood of the local drum and flag corps practicing for the Palio, we surmised, as they came thru and into the church across the street, presumably for a blessing. It was fun to watch them- all decked out in their medieval colors and costumes, green and orange. A few hours later another group came - this time in blue and white and did the same. The apartment is very comfortable and the host very approachable and helpful. Our only negative was that the bathroom was only accessible by walking up another flight of 9 steps and very tightly put together. Hard to turn around in it, but very functional and modern. We did not realize the apartment was 3 flights up either. Not surprising as the buildings are so old, but a bit of a challenge for us in our 70s. Lovely place to stay all in all.

Casa Piazzetta at Piazetta della Selva
We (two couples) stayed at Casa Piazzetta in October 2012.
The apartment is very centrally located, a two minute walk to the Duomo, less than ten minutes to Il Campo and about fifteen minutes to Piazza Gramsci. It was centrally located for touring Siena. We found it very convenient to return to our apartment whenever we felt like a rest during the day.
The windows of the apartment look out over the quiet Piazzetta della Selva, across to the Contrada office and the Chiesa di San Sebastiano, and beyond to the Tuscan sunsets. We heard church bells chiming and watched locals and tourists wander past, enjoying the charm of the city.
The apartment is situated in a typical medieval Sienese building. It is up two flights of stairs which have been upgraded to modern standards. Recently renovated, it has two bedrooms (with limited closet space), a compact modern bathroom, and a new kitchen with full cooking facilities, a good-sized fridge, a dishwasher and a clothes washer. The lounge has a comfortable sofa which seats three to four people. The lighting was good. We had more than enough space for all our needs.
Cristina was a very accommodating hostess. She met us outside the city walls, and piled the four of us and all our luggage into her car to take us into the city. She gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment, and told us about some special performances and exhibitions. She encouraged us to phone of email her if we had further questions to ask her. We very much enjoyed the bottle of wine and ricciarelli (a specialty cookie of Siena) that she left for us to enjoy.
This apartment provided an ideal residence for our visit to Siena. We were very comfortable here. If you are fortunate, as we were, you might even see a performance by the contrada drummer and flag throwers in Piazzetta della Selva.
This was a great property located close to many popular locations. The apartment had everything we needed. Was clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive. Great spot to stay for your vacation.
Very spacious and clean apartment only minutes from The Campo. This was our first VRBO experience and we had no problems. Host and her son were very helpful and friendly and gave us an excellent orientation upon arrival. Hope to stay again in the future !
This apartment was perfect. Owner was fantastic and very communicative. Her restaurant suggestion was excellent. Easy walk to everything. Great breeze through apt and very quiet neighborhood. A steal at the price
Our stay in Siena, although short, was fabulous. Our host, Cristina was great and very responsive. Being a last minute booking, she provided great travel directions as well as marvelous restaurant recommendations. Her son met us at the apartment, showed us the workings of the place, and was a wealth of fascinating history. Especially regarding the Siena Palio racing and the pride of the contradas. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and comfortable.
Thank you again for a wonderful stay!
Our stay in Christina and Elena’s place in Siena was fabulous. Even before we arrived, Christina took the initiative and helped us think through parking and transportation. The apartment was exactly as advertised and in the perfect location . We loved the restaurants she suggested and since we were there a few days before the Palio, she helped us figure out ways to join in the fun. All in all it was a magical few days. We would certainly stay here again.
We were met at the property by the owners son who was polite and very helpful. The property was clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Location was excellent. If arriving by train it is well worth while stocking up on things at the supermarket near station as it is a lot cheaper than local shops. One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in Thankyou so much

Wonderful apartment!
The apartment is on a small piazza, on the second floor. The photos accurately describe the property. There is a lot of light, but with the window shades, is very dark at night. It is off the main tourist areas, but right around the corner from the Duomo. Easy access to all sightseeing. There is a wonderful "corner store" and restaurant Antica Osteria Da Divo nearby. The owners, Cristina and her family were very kind and helpful. Wi Fi was great! Nearby parking was along Via Fontebranda and up a set of 6 escalators. Will definitely return!

It worked out great for us!
This apartment is located just a few steps away from Duomo. Location is perfect! The apartment is very clean and well maintained, we found everything we needed for three people (one bedroom for my husband and me, another for my friend). The owner was waiting for us exactly as we agreed and was very helpful in showing us where to park the car for free not far away from the apartment. He actually drove us from the apartment to the place where we could leave the car and after that drove us back to the apartment.
We could only stay for one night, but we could easily spend several days and nights in Siena and Casa Siena is a great accomodation: inexpensive, convenient and very comfortable. We are very thankful to Christina and Marco.

Great value for money. Excellent position in the heart of Siena
I stayed in this apartment for 4 weeks while attending the language school.
It is an easy walk to everything. It is on the top floor so there are 2 flights of stairs to walk up.
There is no lift.
If you arrive by car, park in the carpark named Santa caterina, on via frontebranda. It is 150 metres to the escalator that is 100 metres from the apartment.
I arrived by train and the owners collected me, which was great.
The apartment was safe and clean and comfortable.
Some of the linens were a little old but clean. The beds and furniture are new.
The bathroom is brand new but tiny. But everything worked!
I walked to the school each day, the supermarket and Piazza del Campo.
This apartment is directly behind the Duomo, away from the centre.
It is very quiet and although there is a church directly opposite, there is no 'bell' noise or tourist noise.
I was there by myself and felt very safe and comfortable.
I had to contact the owners to fix something and they were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Both Cristina and Valentina were very helpful.
This is not a luxurious apartment. It is an very clean ,safe, serviceable and comfortable apartment that I thought was excellent value for money.
I highly recommend this apartment.
