Our family of three had a lovely time at the Gnome Home! It's clean, comfortable and more spacious than it looks in the pictures. It's also fairly well-stocked for a cabin of its size. And the laundry was a real bonus. Great location too.

The Gnome Home is as advertised, cozy dwelling in a quiet setting with great outside deck. The upstairs loft is definitely for the younger set.

The Gnome Home is a cute and quirky place to stay near Denali National Park with privacy and modern plumbing! The hosts are super responsive and the check in process was easy peasy. It features a king bed, large loft bed and extra twin (although that one does share space with the laundry room!) there’s a LAUNDRY ROOM!!! Perfect for a couple or family with a few kids. Has a regular refrigerator, large kitchen sink, hotplate, microwave, coffeemaker, outside grill. The bathroom is a bit awkward , but the water pressure is FAB! We had a terrific stay.

We had a great stay at this little cabin! It was a nice, peaceful location situated not too far from Denali National Park. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio area and even got to see a moose just down the road!

The primary bed is in the same room as the refrigerator and table. The twin bed is in the same room as the shower/toilet. This did not cause us any problems, but need to be aware. The loft had two twin bends and would seem to be very warm on the warmer summer days. We did not use any beds other than the main queen.

Thanks for the review! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. However, the main bed, in the main room is a king size bed, and the bed in the loft is just one bed and is a king size as well. We don’t list the twin in the back, because we put it in the unit as an extra.

If you’re looking for a rustic setting away from the tourist crowds, this is perfect. WiFi was great and bed was very comfy. There’s a grill and a hot plate and a microwave for cooking, so plan meals accordingly. A big plus for us was the washer/dryer.

Great place for my wife and I. I will add that if you are older or somewhat unstable the home has a couple of stepdowns coming out of bathroom and 2nd room. Otherwise, great location, comfortable bed and nice setup.

This is a cute cabin. Bed was comfortable. The shower was great and we never ran out of hot water. Washer and dryer worked well. We did not use the gas grill outside. The place is peaceful and overall feels isolated. But the wifi worked great. We were within 30 minutes of Denali National Park. There are a few steps up into the cabin. Then another step into the laundry room and twin bed room and another step into the bathroom.

We were two couples - all in our 70’s. Though the accommodations were cute, the steps between rooms throughout the house were less than ideal, particularly at night. Same with the ladder in the middle of the main room. The access difficulty for the upstairs due both to the ladder and the low ceiling should be better documented in the property description. The overall living space could probably be rearranged for better utilization. We found the hosts very accommodating and helpful.

What a cute little cabin! It was close enough to Denali but also secluded and quiet. The laundry facilities are a total bonus! To be clear, bathroom, laundry, and spare twin bed are all in one room, but there’s a door for privacy. We did not need the loft because there was just two of us. The hot plate and kitchen were perfectly adequate for our simple meals. Our hosts were welcoming and quick to communicate. It was a lovely place to land after our adventures in the park,

The Denali Gnome Home was comfortable and functional for a couple nights’ stay. Bring sleep masks because the cabin doesn’t have blackout curtains.

Knus huisje op goede locatie

Leuk huisje verscholen in de bossen, maar toch dichtbij Denali NP entree. Veilige en rustige buurt. Goede communicatie met de host. Instructies duidelijk. Voldoende handdoeken etc. Wasmachine en droger aanwezig en goed werkend. Nog een goede toevoeging zou een waterkoker zijn voor theedrinkers als wij. Maar mbv magnetron goed op te lossen. Wij hebben er niet gekookt. Dus kan daar niet echt wat over zeggen.

Alaska summers are hard to beat, we love to be out fishing, camping, hiking, 4wheeling, and hunting as a family. Spending time as a family is time we cherish together.

This wonderful cabin is located on a 2 acre parcel with a large house to the right side and a larger cabin behind it. The way the cabin is situated, it does give you some privacy.
