Came for a 3-day visit to Denali National Park in late April. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had a well-supplied kitchen. We had no trouble staying warm, even at night. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Very short drive to the local grocery store. Only change I would have made is having the cabin a little further back from the main road.
We stayed at the Muskrat Cabin for four nights. The cabin was very well kept, nicely stocked and almost brand new. It was the perfect size for a couple. I was also happy to discover the park entrance was only about a 15 minute drive and within a mile you also have access to a couple of restaurants, market and gas station. As someone who frequents national parks relatively frequently - this was definitely the most convenient and clean VRBO I’ve stayed at. Easy access to rafting, ATV, plane tours, hikes and just about anything you’d want to do in the area. The cabin was a lovely place to relax at the end of your adventurous day.
Our family of four stayed in this cabin near Denali. At about 15 minutes from the park, it just right for our family of 4. Our children are small, so that probably made it easier, but if it was 4 adults, there was still plenty of room to spread out. The place was very clean and was on the new side, so things were nice and functioning. The kitchen wasn't huge, but was very well stocked with equipment and utensils for a group of 4. No dishwasher, but wasn't really needed if you kept things simple. There was no TV, which was nice to get away from technology and focus on what you're there for, Denali! There was one downside which was that you were near the main road, so you would often get loud trucks/semis driving on there and hear it. But, the location of being conveniently located near a store, restaurant and the park were vastly more important. If we were to do it again, we would definitely stay here the entire time rather than split it up like we did at the Princess Lodge, which was nearer the park.
This cabin was perfect for me and my two young daughters to stay at while we explored Denali Nat’l Park. We had everything we needed and the cabin was so cozy! If we ever find ourselves in Alaska again, this rental will be on the top of my list.
This was a great cabin for my group. Close to the park, very well maintained, and quiet. There was plenty of space for our baby to play. We would definitely stay here again.
