Tropical island private home with pool on Manasota Key, with access to your own beach on the Gulf of Mexico and fishing (not boating) dock on Lemon Bay (less than a block from each). Newly screened-in pool; gas grill; House has tile floors throughout; Central air and ceiling fans in every room (or turn off the A/C, open the windows, and listen to the sea); all kitchen appliances and washer/dryer; Beds include one king, one queen, two full, and the sun-room's pull-out couch makes a queen size bed; Master Suite is connected to the main house, but has its own bath and exterior door to a separate garden; Games, Book-exchange, Cable, WIFI Internet; Fishing poles, beach bikes, beach chairs, toys, and more; fully furnished with kitchen ware and linens. As teachers, this home is very child friendly, including games, toys, a booster seat, and pack-n-play. Yoga on the beach every morning, just a bike-ride (supplied) away! Upper veranda on garage gives a lovely view of the gulf. Our semi-private beach has been restored, just across the road! The garage holds many toys and extras, and may be used to house your bikes and/or small car. Four beaches are as close as 1.2 miles and all within 5 miles!
NOTE: Roof repair (damage from Hurricane Ian) may occur 5/14-5/19 - so 40% discount those days.

Nice, Relaxing Stay!

My family and I enjoyed our time. The property owners were very responsive and communicated with us as needed. Location to the bay and beach were a short walk away. The pool was refreshing during the hot afternoons! A few updates to the pool area and guest rooms would make this perfect. I recommend this property to a family or couples wanting a relaxing beach vacation.

Family Vacation

Overall this property is really great- especially if you have a large family with adults and older children. It was especially nice to have a private pool right outside the door! We had access to an abundance of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. which was much appreciated. Really, my only complaint is the distance to the beach. It isn’t a *far* walk but I wouldn’t consider it a short one- certainly not a convenient one if you left something behind. When my children were small this distance would have been a deal breaker for me, however with adults and older children it is manageable and we made the trip several times a day. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and there was plenty of space for all of us (4 adults, 3 kids). The beach wasn’t crowded and it was a nice, quiet vacation that we all enjoyed!

Excellent!

The property is perfect for family and has EVERYTHING you need for a Florida vacation! The open living room/kitchen/dining area so spacious. The pool outside the kitchen is a so perfect for a day at home instead of the beach. And just a short walk to beach and AWESOME fishing dock.

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Florida for 25 years and kept finding ourselves at Manasota Key, with the most beautiful beaches and the most friendly, fun-loving people! When we found this home for sale, we knew we had to have it. We are still working and cannot be there year-round, so we want to share it with others.

What makes this property unique

This house is a perfect balance of island life on Manasota Key. It is close enough to hear waves crashing or take the just a 3-4 minute walk to the beach or bay - start the day with sunrise on the bay dock and enjoy a sunset walk on the beach. You will find the home to have quiet, peace, and shade. The pool is warm and relaxing and you'll have access to bikes, pool toys, etc. The front porch has prehistoric sharks teeth -- to welcome you to the beach house! The tropical flora and fauna will delight your sense of sight and smell!
