Place was clean, quiet, cute, had all the amenities. Host was polite and answer quickly. Our family of 10 stayed there comfortably. Only "issue" is that the house only has one bathroom, so it was a little tricky to take turns lol.
We loved the Nauvoo Windmill Farmhouse!! We arrived late at night and got in with the code. It was clean, roomy and close to Nauvoo. We didn't worry about the kids being noisy as we played games and had fun together as there were no other houses around...just fields. We ordered food from Walmart and they delivered to our door. We will definitely stay there again!!

We are so happy that you loved the Nauvoo Windmill Farmhouse! We are glad you enjoyed the clean home, rooms, and open space so close to Nauvoo. I'm happy you found time to spend with your kids playing games. What a great idea to have food ordered from Walmart and delivered right to your door! That saves time! Please come again!! We'd love to have you stay!
The Windmill Farmhouse was the perfect spot for our family stay over the long Geode Fest weekend. The interior is filled with comfy furniture and thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax after hiking all day. My son especially loved the oversized cushion chairs! The location is out-of-the-way and quiet, but the roads are well-kept, and getting in and out to Keokuk, Nauvoo, and so on was a breeze! The upstairs did get a bit toasty, but the window A/C cooled it down in a jiffy. We just turned it on after dinner, and it was perfectly chilled by bedtime. Highly recommend!

I'm glad you found our Nauvoo Windmill Farmhouse! We are happy you found it relaxing and comfortable! Yes, kids love the stuffed chairs! It is a family guest favorite! I'm glad you used the window ac unit provided, in addition to the central air, upstairs. It gives it just the extra kick that is needed!
This property is amazing. Rural and quiet. There were six of us and we stayed very comfortably. The beds were comfortable. The blackout curtains were much appreciated! Fans were also in the house to help with airflow. One bathroom could be challenging if you had a lot of people staying at the house, but it was just fine for us. Fireflies are EVERYWHERE at dusk! Kitchen was nice & stocked. Washer & dryer were great. Lots of places to sit and relax. The kids appreciated the bean bag chairs! If we are back in the area we will stay here again!
