We had a wonderful time at the Montauk home. The property was amazing & we totally enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was a relaxing and fun getaway for my family. Dealing with Carter as a host was a pleasure. He made himself available for any questions or issues and responded quickly whenever I reached out. We would definitely come back for another vacation here.

Carter's place was the perfect spot for 8 ladies on a relaxing, long weekend bachelorette. It was just the right amount of space, with all of the appliances needed to cook in for several nights. Some of us utilized the hot tub. Pool maintenance arrived on our second day and cleaned which was a nice surprise. Some of us took a cold plunge! We decided not to heat the pool since we were there for a shorter period of time. On the off season, I wasn't surprised to see a lot of the trees and bushes overgrown in the backyard however, the lawn was well manicured. A little more maintenance of the vines/bushes around the hot tub would have been nice prior to our stay to make it more clean/appealing to hang out, but I just used one of their brooms to do it myself. The house is conveniently located in walking distance from the beach which was lovely! With a car, we were able to get anywhere in 10-15 minutes. Carter was incredibly approachable throughout our stay. The place definitely has an elevated "coastal grandma" esthetic with all of the nautical antiques and tons of books that fill each room. Definitely more of a kid-friendly place to stay with bunk beds, toys/game, and strollers available. I'd say it comfortably fit 8 adults with the pull out couch in the lower family room. Adding more than that would feel pretty snug. *Note* Taking out trash has a process. Just read the booklet ahead of time to plan out how to dispose of it. Check-in and out was very smooth!

10/10 Stay in Hither Hills

Home suited us perfectly for a 10-day vacation with family and friends. The back yard is absolutely fantastic and was perfect for summer grill-outs and pool days. The neighborhood is very quiet and location was spot-on just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Can’t say enough good things about Carter’s home - even better than the pictures!!

Our week could not have been better, we loved this house and Montauk! It was such a relaxing week! The house had everything to make the stay with our 16 month old grandson so easy! Our older kids loved the pool and hot tub and easy walk to town each morning for coffee! Carter was an excellent host, very responsive and so nice! Absolutely Wonderful!!!!!!!

Beautiful house, great for group visit for Montauk. Pool and hot tub were great, living rooms are great for your family or group, and excellent location central or 5 minutes to just about everything. Good to know that checkin process is more involved than described on listing; allow 25 minutes for an orientation by the owner either in person or over the phone. Checkout instructions were more involved than anticipated, whereas we expected standard tasks to be included in the cleaning fee. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

Really lovely stay!

Stayed here with a small group over labor day weekend. Communication prior to the stay was great. Check-in day of / walk-through was easy to schedule. The home itself was comfortable. Such a lovely and peaceful location. The pool is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay.

Charming cottage by the beach

This charming property had the most beautiful backyard with a pool and a hot tub that we enjoyed everyday! The beach was a short walk and the location into town was perfect- just a few minutes drive away! Carter, the owner, was super responsive and friendly. We really enjoyed our time there and didn’t want to leave!!
